Absolutely love this band, super underrated! Their album Power Through Terror is a must listen! Fun fact as well, one of their guitarists is Grayson from Norma Jean, and i believe it’s him doing the secondary clean vocals🤘
GAG started out as a noisy punk/hardcore band kind of like Blacklisted meets Trap Them.. then once Niko (lead guitar) joined, they became more metal-oriented. Their break-through album “Hatred..” sounds like a hardcore version of Pantera and they just got heavier with every release with notable Gojira and Morbid Angel influences. They’ve gotten to a point now where they call themselves “Meshuggah riffs with choruses”. Second guitarist Grayson joined a few years back and he’s brought in even more southern metal influences like Pantera and Mastodon and added more clean vocals. This is his first album with GAG. He’s also in Norma Jean and has played on their last two albums.
Hey, this is cool! There's something very The Way of All Flesh and that type of era of Gojira about a lot of the riffage. I'm sure the Duplantier brothers and their compatriots would appreciate this :D
100%. They were handpicked to open for Gojira in the past so they’re definitely aware of GAG. They promoted one of GAG’s older singles “Altar of Snakes” on Sirius XM a few years back.
Subscribed. Good reaction. I see that you have reacted to BABYMETAL. I will leave 2 more suggestions: BABYMETAL | Rondo of Nightmare (w/ Mischiefs of Metal Gods Intro) BABYMETAL - Road of Resistance - Live in Japan (OFFICIAL) 🦊 🖖❤
Torture World was one hell of an EP, gotta go back and check out their older stuff
