    ABOUT SPEAKER
Ajahn Nissarano is an Australian monk who ordained under Ajahn Brahm 22 years ago. He resides in Sri Lanka but spends a few months each year at the Buddhist Society of Victoria to teach and lead meditation classes
    BUDDHIST CENTRE
While registered as a Buddhist not-for-profit association, Buddhist Society of Victoria (BSV) welcome members of all backgrounds and religions.
Located in Melbourne, our East Malvern centre hosts programs that guide members on meditation; as well as practical Buddhist teachings for kids, teenagers, and adults.
Our spiritual advisor is Ajahn Brahm, the Abbot of Bodhinyana Monastery located in Western Australia.

    FOREST MONASTERY
Newbury Buddhist Monastery (NBM) is just 70 minutes from the heart of Melbourne city. The magnificent landscape and tranquil surroundings offer an inspiring backdrop for seclusion and meditation.
NBM is unique in that it is only one of a very few monasteries in the world and the very first in Victoria that support both Bhikkhu and Bhikkhuni ordination and practice. This supports the cultivation of Buddhist teachers who in return, share Dhamma teachings across the world.

My father is currently in the transitioning phase of death. This video reminds me that there are more adventures to come for him. He is experiencing a peaceful lovely death and this video reminded me of that. Thank you.

He remembers so much and feels a need to share it... But this story telling about his experiences is superfluous... Surely it would be more skilful to keep on track and relate to Buddha's teaching rather than repeatedly sharing his own past, and his own memories....
    A little conceited maybe?

Very much wish that he keep his voice and an even Keel so I can hear him better. He will say some senses very quiet I have to blast the volume on my stereo and then he will speak up and then I have to turn it down. It would be nice if you could keep an even tone when you're making a recording like that for people to listen to so that we can hear everything he says. You might want to do something about that audio

Virgin Birth, Death by Crucifixion, Burial and Resurrection of Jesus prove that Buddha's teachings are 100%wrong.
All of us are required to pay our sin penalty.
By default, the payment is eternal Hell.
No one can pay their sin penalty down to a zero. It is eternal
Only option we have to escape Hell is to tell Jesus that we want HIM to pay our sin penalty.
2020 years ago, Jesus became our substitute, HE took our sins upon HIMSELF and died in our place.
We have to believe in Jesus in order to benefit.

Not necessarily, and no need to complicate things. People make a cult out of everything, it's in our nature. It is said: "The righteous will inherit Heaven". Jesus taught people lessons that would lead them to Heaven: follow the Commandments and Love thy Neighbour. Be righteous, don't be wicked. Pure and simple. Do not be like a poisonous tree that will be cut down and thrown into hell fire.
Anyone, of any religion, I repeat, any religion or no religion, (EVEN IF THEY HAVE NEVER HEARD OF JESUS or GOD), will find salvation providing they have abstained from wickedness and followed a righteous path in life. No tree that has born good fruit shall ever be thrown into hell fire. And this is the ultimate wisdom. The righteous will inherit the Kingdom of Heaven.
I am a Christian and do not subscribe to this whole "karma and rebirth" thing. But ultimately each shall be judged by God according to their deeds, regardless of their beliefs.
You can believe in Allah or Zarathustra, whatever, who cares, if you've lead the life of a Saint you have nothing to worry about. Humans are made in the image of God, to understand what is good and what is evil. It is up to the individual to make a call whose side they are on.
