      @@thomasharris5151 Yes, the GX is built on the 4Runner, how similar are they on the inside, and is the Lexus GX more luxurious than the 4Runner?

    • @thomasharris5151
      @thomasharris5151 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The Lexus GX isn't just a luxury version of the 4Runner, though. It's actually a Lexus version of the Toyota Land Cruiser Prado, a vehicle similar to the 4Runner but sold in markets outside of North America... it’s a true luxury V8 suv that competes with and is better than its peers.. plus has better resale value and is a reliability giant..! The newer LX and GX are close but the lx is certainly “better” but I’m not sure if it’s $30k more better... a $70k GX460 (bought ours certified for $30K) is a real value!!!
      Love the 4Runner with 400k and runs like new!!!!! The tundra is perfect as well(GX and Tundra have the same engine)... the older LX470 is a luxurious workhouse that will not die and still rides as good as many newer suvs and has all the comforts you’ll need...
      Enjoy the GX as we are....

    I've used this sprayer several times now on brick pavers, a wood deck, patio, and a driveway. th-cam.com/users/postUgkx43QMbQqu67IZadu9ou8Sg1BdrunMRNqX It has performed as expected on all surfaces. For larger areas like the decks and patios, I think I will be looking into a surface cleaner attachment to speed up the job, or at least make it a little easier. Hose and sprayer connections are tool-less, tight, and quick. I used the yellow nozzle on the concrete/brick surfaces, and the pressure was adequate for cleaning those surfaces.I am disappointed that these units are still being shipped with a nozzle storage holder that allows them to vibrate out of the holder way too easily and become lost, but I don't want to knock off a star for that reason. The functional part of the washer works very well, so I would recommend this product.

    I picked this up when I first saw it and I will say it does a good job for quick washes and simple cleaning. As for the foam cannon it sucks I used my other foam cannon you can adjust and it does a much better job. I wont say its shaving cream like for that I use my gas pressure washer but I would say it compares at about 50% which works when you just need to do quick car washes without all the hassle of gas one.

    Finally got the Ryobi 600psi power washer today. Works much better than the DeWalt when using a bucket (no hiccups in flow at 5ft head) AND you can use hot water and other chemicals with it. Did my front deck and vinyl railings with two 4Ah batteries on mid-flow setting and 15 deg nozzle. Worked great. So far, so good!

      @@jeffostroff Today I used the Ryobi to clean my Morton building doors and gutters, and around the house. Unlike the DeWalt, this sucks water like a beast. 5 gall bucket on the ground, me up a ladder with the power washer 11ft up. Never hiccup'd once. Ran on full flow today with the 15 deg nozzle and got through 16Ah of batteries no problem. Even a 9Ah fits in the O-ring sealed battery case. Really pleased! Ryobi hits it out of the park yet again.
      Looking forward to your review sometime.

    Hi Jeff. Just picked one of these up at the HD in West Kendall. You might have thought about this already but I have done a temporary work around until the community can develop a more elegant solution for the connection. What I have done is left the clear plastic connector on the power unit so I can marry the power head to both the included siphon hose and a garden hose. My work around involves involves the black plastic connector which is included to attach the garden hose. I have taken one of my brass Gilmour male quick connects and screwed it into the included black plastic. To be safe I also used Teflon tape on the brass. I noticed that once the connector was securely screwed into the black plastic, the DeWalt plastic connector "locked" into place and no longer rotated. I believe if the black plastic connector is allowed to swivel you will get leakage.
    Another idea is to use a double female connector on the power head and then attach the Gilmour male directly to the power head but then the challenge becomes mating the siphon hose to the Gilmour male. Just some thoughts. Love the unit so far. Cleaning screens and windows, and light wall cleaning work.

    • @jeffostroff
      @jeffostroff  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I need to try something like that. BTW, I found the pressure when using the siphon is terrible, it's equivalent to using the Dewalt in low pressure mode

      @@jeffostroff The resin isn't cheap but it's rated at x gallons on a scale depending on your water hardness PPM... I wash my f150 weekly and use the water for the entire process not just rinsing among other things and one take of resin lasts me about a year.. so if you arent using it weekly or for big jobs, you can get 1.5 yrs + easily if your water isn't off the charts on hardness. min is ~250 PPM and that's mid of the scale ... IF your PPM is lower of course the resin lasts a lot longer.. I dont mind paying the price since it minimizes swirls, spots, and speeds up the process overall. :-)

    I've been using my DeWalt Power Cleaner for a week now . . . cleaning the flat roof of my home and my solar panels. Overall, I'm thrilled with how it works, but the door on the battery protective housing is bound to break . . . very weak and flimsy. Really DeWalt???? The soap gun also is poorly made . . . no adjustability and the soap is depleted in less than a minute. I also wish the trigger had a lock to keep the trigger activated. I depleted 3, 9-Ah FlexVolt batteries working up on my roof over the course of a couple of hours. My hand was cramping from continually squeezing the trigger. Other than those issues, I am completely satisfied with the DeWalt Power Cleaner . . . the power is perfect for my needs and run-time is perfectly adequate for most jobs (my roof and solar panels is a big job!)

    If I didn't already have a Greenworks electric model from Lowe's, I might consider a battery model, but I don't think this was hands down a great buy. The soap gun flow is about the same as my Greenworks 1700psi ($99). Both look sad. I would return it if I were you. On another note, I've never seen the inside of a rim that clean before and Pearl White was the best color Lexus ever came out with. I remember that color on the sedans and coupes back in the 90's when Lexus first came out. Can you add the link for the California Squeegee, that thing did the trick!

      I did not expect much with any of these soap guns so I'm not really that disappointed especially since I already have a real professional grade soap gone with quick disconnect that I used for washing my cars with anyway . The only good thing about the Dewalt is you have plenty of batteries. It would be nice if a company could create a battery or electric power washer that rivals the specs of a gas powered one. It would have been nice to see a couple fence planks done with the “high” setting. I would never use this tool in “low”. Try the foam cannon on the end of the 2 feet lance rather than straight onto the gun. I do this on my Worx Hydroshot and I get good foam. The lance helps increase the pressure and reduces the volume of water emptying out the cannon. I can do a Mercedes station wagon with 3 coats of foam with a 1litre cannon.

      Yes we have already been filming this over the last few days and we hope to have a video up next week about this a follow up video we used the greenworks soap applicator, not a cannon, more like a soap gun, but shoots great pressure soap suds because it has a quarter inch quick connect that plugs right directly onto the end of the wand. But the bottle that comes with this kit does not plug onto the end of the wand you have to remove the wand and it plugs onto the end of the housing which is ridiculous there's no pressure

    Watched for couple mins and then spotted it was on low sat grinding my teeth for you to spot it for rest of video, my understanding of how soap guns work it that pressure difference from in front to back of tank creates the vortex that draws up the soap so would like to think it would foam better on high setting as well as every other cleaning feature would be enhanced.

    whats the best buy between Ryobi EZ clean vs DeWalt Power Cleaner DCPW550B 5 AH 500 PSI

    • @jeffostroff
      @jeffostroff  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Without a doubt the DeWalt I think is the much better buy and one of the best reasons is that the tip on the end of the DeWalt can be removed in it as a quarter inch connect quick connect and so any adapter or tool or foam cannon that you want to buy to wash your car with all of them will fit on the end of the Walt but they cannot be put on the Ryobi that is a big design oversight on the Ryobi part. Also the dewalts prayer being that it goes as high as 550 even though the pressure is not as great when you siphon it from a hose through a bucket, it is still more powerful than the Ryobi sprayer. However Ryo be is supposed to be coming out with a 600PSI sprayer that I am curious to see how well it is designed and whether or not they changed their minds on it and decided to put the quarter inch quick connect on the end of the wind that's what I am waiting to see.

    I don’t recommend blasting your condensing unit with a pressure washer unless it’s on a very low setting . You don’t want to bend or disorientate the very fine fins that are all along the tubing . They play a key roll in helping to expel the heat and subcool the refridge rent . Air must be able to cross over . I only mention this because I can’t tell how many times I’ve come across customers who completely destroy there units by squashing the fins in .

For me if I want power I use the most concentrated and then work my way up based on need. They have all ways been the worst for me. I am getting one of the Dewalt sprayers maybe it will be different? Great video

    • @jeffostroff
      @jeffostroff  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes I have found that the Turbo nozzle depending on how close you put it will give a little bit more concentrated energy, whereas those other replaceable tips that you put on there all they do is they fan out the water from 5 degrees, 20 degrees, or 40 degrees for example. So it gives you a wider fan Anna better rinse in the Turbo mode but the Turbo mode in my opinion scrubs better

    • @jeffostroff
      @jeffostroff  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Without a doubt that DeWalt unit is much better because the Ryobi unit is only 350 PS I and I am very doubtful as to whether it even really puts out that much it seems to me that the Ryobi unit is the equivalent of the dewalt’s low setting. And the wall has that high setting at 500 PS I that gives you much more noticeable pressure. both units totally stink at siphoning water out of the five gallon bucket a lot of times they lose prime trying to do it and also since you're not connected up to the 60 PS I garden hose you lose that tailwind of having that little bit of extra pressure right out of the get go there's no pressure of water coming out of a 5 gallon bucket
