I recently became a temp digital nomad.. i kept my apartment in Brooklyn, NY and travel multiple times within the year but i stay up to 3-6 weeks… i actually dont prefer having a nomad community lol! I just wana relax and chill out with no social pressure or annoyance. It works for me.. i live in nyc then escape to hermit
It my first time heard digital nomad, kind catch my interest. I like to know and learn about it. Reading your personal opinion, i can say that also my preference. I hope i can find my way to do the same in future.
It's very important to respect the rules of the land when you travel around the world. And always look how you can give more than you take from the place where you are "nomading" 🙏🏽
Hey Kristin you look so beautiful, how long have you been on Bali🤓😎, I love your Vlog About Digital Nomad hope your Channel growing more n success, let's be friendly what's your Instagram account? You know sharing is caring
I'm currently an employee working remotely for a company, but i am ready to make 2024 the year i move up and become an entrepreneur and see more of the world
I am a remote worker, I visited this video just thinking that the nomad community might have some tips for me, and they did. Great video, my type of remote work would not allow me to easily travel over seas, at least not for a prolonged length of time. Still, thanks for the video.
For someone who had never done the digital nomad thing, this video was very informative. Great job! We watch Kristin’s videos all the time. My husband and I have our sights set on Thailand and Spain. Lord willing, we’ll be leaving after Thanksgiving 2025.
Oh my gosh! What a video this is!! It is probably one of the most inspiring videos I have ever seen about being a digital nomad, and how possible it is to become one. I am currently working on an online business to help give me the financial freedom to travel, and I am aiming for the minimum of $10k a month. I’m 28 now, and I want to do travelling the world before I turn 30 so I kind of have a countdown mindset which I’m trying to battle and retain the energy to see the people there, and live a fulfilling life travelling. The future is bright, and I just want it to stay this way! Thank you :)
Thank you Charlie, very informative. You are very good in this. I am a 62 year old man from the Netherlands and I want to be a Digital Nomad as well. This was the first Digital Nomad youtube video I watched. I am not sure yet what I am going to do for a (Nomad) living. After watching this video I am thinking of 'online coaching' and, because my hobby is filming and video editing, something like content creator. I want to travel by car throughout Europe. God Bless you Charlie.
Thank you, Charlie, this video helps me a lot! I live in Turkey. I quit my job in architecture 2 years ago because that lifestyle was killing me from the inside. I started to think about what I wanted, I tried many jobs but I couldn't find the right one for me. I was really afraid to go back to 9/5 again until this month. I went to Thailand and Indonesia for a vacation and when I came back to my country I realized what I actually wanted from life and which lifestyle made me happy. I started to research nomad life, and your video was the first video I've ever watched :)) I am going to research more and make some plans to become a digital nomad. I don't know yet how to make money online but I'm trying to find how to make money from my talents and interests :)
same here! im in Florida and tired of being a contractor, spending 3k a month just to be miserable at the end of the day. Im learning how to drop ship. Maybe we can help eachother?
Things that would have been interesting to hear would be families. I'm assuming these people interviewed (I'm guessing, I don't know) don't have kids, so how do they deal with schooling. Especially for private versus public schools since many countries have rules about being able to attend public schools as a non citizen.
Hey Charlie; this was a good one. Perhaps you could interview a few more digital nomads on a little more advanced subject matter than this one. A couple of different nomads for different perspectives.
I own multiple properties in bohol island the majority of my rentals are for expats. I’m thinking about stating a digital nomads headquarters like workday offices here in the US I’m not sure if it’s a good idea.
Another video going deeper into the logistics part specifically would be good. For example, can one easily acquire their daily medications in the foreign country? Do people get in trouble at work when their company's IT department sees they are connecting from a foreign IP (which is usually a huge security red flag🚩), etc.?
Loved it! Very inspiring and straight to the point questions. Just found your channel this morning at my very boring work 😂 already watched lots of videos. Thank you!!!❤❤❤
I'm 27 and I am starting from scratch. This is the first video I watch for being a digital nomad. I believe this will not be really easy but I am hoping this will work out for me! There's a lot of remote works now but mostly they are looking for someone who has experience for it. Anyone here could help me? any recommendation for job site? I really appreciate everyone❤
600 USD in rent .... in Bangkok ??? yikes I paid 250 usd for a great apartment with WIFI close to the BTS (Sky train) which allows me to move around the city easily.
I am 23 years old my family loves to travel and I really want to become a digital nomad and I would prefer to travel to different places every month or so. I am visually impaired and I am getting another guide dog. I have a high school degree but don't know what other jobs are out there for me to do remotely.
@4:00 all of this is easier said than done. What if you're broke, cant find / get hired for remote positions, have a travel youtube channel that isnt growing as expected to sustain yourself, bills up to your neck because you cant find consistent work, don't have a bachelor degree, but only have IT training with an A+ or Net+ certification? Then what? I can't sell nothing, I cant even afford a consultation.
@@NateInYoState hahahaha what a great joke 🤣. We always have something to sacrifice like our time, money, energy. If you think that you don't have nothing to sacrifice you're lying to yourself

Hello everyone! I am a canadian citizen living in Canada. I am currently applying for remote jobs from USA companies. During the application online the question: "Will you now or in the future require sponsorship to work in the U.S.? " often comes up. Being that the job is 100% remote do I require sponsorship or a visa to work for these companies from Canada? From my understanding if I'm not physically working in the USA I should answer NO. Can anyone advise on this please. Thanks!

Hello everyone, Hope you’re all enjoying your adventures and work! I’m currently working on an assignment for my class where I need to interview someone who’s living the dream-I mean, the digital nomad lifestyle. I’m fascinated by the concept and aspiring to join the ranks someday. Would anyone be available for a brief 10-15 minute chat or email correspondence sometime this week or next? I’d love to hear about your experiences, challenges, and any advice you’d be willing to share for a budding digital nomad. Thank you so much for considering my request. Looking forward to learning from one of you! Best, Danny
