The 2023 US Open main draw runs from August 28 - September 10 in New York City at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center. The tournament takes place for the 143rd time and is the fourth and final Grand Slam of the year. Last year, Spain's Carlos Alcaraz and Poland's Iga Swiatek claimed the men's and women's singles titles. It was both players' first US Open title, with Alcaraz winning his first Grand Slam title and Swiatek winning her third Grand Slam title. This year, at the US Open, we’re set for another historic tournament as the world’s best tennis players head to New York. @@Cooliewhistles It's habit. You're expected to act like that in the NCAA since audiences want to be excited. He's trying to entertain, not belittle. Why else would he earnestly congratulate people when he loses and talk about his game objectively in post-game interviews?
I saw Ben play at Indian Wells this year and knew I was watching a future American super star. Whether he beats Tiafoe or not, we’ll be seeing a lot more of Ben Shelton over the next decade! 💫

Ben Shelton's style reminds me of the great tennis player who was Pete Sampras, and whom the media seems to have forgotten. Everyone talks about the Big Three, Big Four, and so on. But Sampras, I liked much more, with his serve-and-volley style.

Ben playing doubles is directly improving his singles net play. He is volleying beautifully under pressure. He can be a bit off-putting when addressing the audience, but he'll keep improving.

Sorry about the many comments, Carlos alcaraz very charismatic so where the big 3 but Rodger did not gain as much traction as Tiger because Americans only give that type of respect to other Americans. The big 3 went further than Tiger did in his sport but Tiger was by far a bigger superstar in America.
