I am complete beginner... Macrame just started to attract me... Pls make tutorial on the varieties of macrame threads/ cords or whatever... And the purpose of each.. I have question - I have micro cotton cords, I think which are not waxed ... They are very tiny. I don't know their size... They don't become sticky when burnt... Can they be used for jewelry making like earrings..? How can I secure the ends..?

I think you should use polyester to make earrings. I haven't ever use coton cord before. But don't worry you can use other similar wires. I think nylon will be fine but a bit hard, just give it a try.
