I’ve also had the pleasure of meeting Mary Monroe and having an intimate conversation with her. She said her family doesn’t read her books…😮. I have also met and interacted with Beverly Jenkins, she has met with my book club in Ypsilanti, Michigan where I moved away from and where she resides. The book club turned me on to her writing and I have been reading her ever since. Thank you for watching. 😊

I've only read Sisters & Lovers of Briscoe years ago and remember laughing & enjoying it. I'm going to have to check out some more. All the Lonely People was recommended to me months ago and still need to pick it up. I hope you enjoy Jennifer Lewis, I still need to read her book. Nice haul, enjoy your books!

I love Connie Briscoe books and have read them all. Fast storylines with good plots. Mary Monroe is another favorite author and I agree she writes great fast reading series. I have the Lexington, Alabama series (Mrs. Wiggins, etc), but as usual haven't gotten to them yet. I wasn't fortunate to get the 4/final installment of the series in an ARC so I need to get busy reading the first three. It's funny you mentioned the Blessing series because I'm listening to the audiobooks on my drives. I'm currently on the 7th book in the series.

There are so many great books you've discussed. Next month Game on by Seressia Glass gets released and I'm reserving December for cozy and romantic reads. ❤

Excellent idea to reserve December for cozy reads…I do enjoy Christmas themed novels this time of year. Happy Reading!
