Great!! It is possible to name your own patches in the SPD-S. Use the following steps to do so: 1. Press PATCH so it is lit. 2. Press + or - to select the desired patch. 3. Press EDIT. 4. Press PAGE Right (>) four times to select “PATCH COMMON.” 5. Press ENTER. 6. Press PAGE Right (>) twice to select “Name.” 7. Use the + / - buttons along with the Page Right/Left buttons to select and change the desired characters. 8. Press EDIT or PATCH to save the new name to the patch.

Alright so Im having a slight problem when trying to assign a sound for each pad. When I hit a pad that I want to assign a new sound to, its not allowing me to do so and I have to use shift Left or Right. Is there away I can change the settings so all i have to do is hit which pad I want to change? As shown at 1:30 in the video.
Can you change the tempo of a already created custom sample in patch mode? Also can you change the tempo while it's playing in patch mode. I know you can change the already created sample that's already pre-programmed by using Tap Tempo but not your own custom sample.
Dont know how many times i've used these videos as i always forget! thank you so much!
