I wish they would have kept that feature with SPD-SX. I never owned one of these, I always wanted one back in the day tho. I have the spd-30 and the strike Multipad now. My SPD-SX got stolen and my wonderful g/f bought me the Strike Multipad for Christmas last year. Alesis has had 3 updates for it and each one has made given the pad more functionality each time so now it’s virtually identical or has more features than the Roland. Only thing I like about the Roland more is some of the EFX for doing dJ style stuff if just a little bit better. The huge storage capacity, the 6 GB of built in sounds and the custom RGB lights, built in looper, Hihat pedal, make up for it’s very small short comings. Probably should buy another SPD-SX In future however it’s been out so long Roland might be making a new version, or they think they got it right the first time and won’t have to make a new one for another 10 years..... that’s Roland for you
@MANTEGADECACAUET If you are asking about J. Rabb playing with the click, Im sure he isn't because the samples that are on the pad are all in time. essentially its like playing along to your favorite song, the samples are the click.
does anyone know how to set up SPD S to control effect with velo(use stick strike the pad instead use the knob)? I try many time to set up but could not . please

that's cool but can you loop a sample pad so you don't have to keep on hitting it every time??
