🌏✍️Dear global fam...in this month's 20th September 2024 RTS LINK MALAYSIA-SINGAPORE MEGA PROJECT UPDATE, I bring you guys to 2 historical places in Johor Bahru, Malaysia, that you must visit to know the true history of Malaysia besides just eating and shopping places. 1. Ancient Chinese Temple 2. The only WORLD'S GLASS TEMPLE. In this film I also bring you guys to cross the Johor-Singapore Causeway, not just to see the RTS LINK WORK PROGRESS, but to see how to travel by bus from JB Sentral to Singapore Queen Street before the RTS Link is completed... still unsure of the fare from Bukit Chagar to Woodlands North. Btw, it only costs RM5 from Johor Bahru to Queen Street by bus. And the journey is about 30 minutes...smooth journey. Hope you guys benefit and have a great time watching. -------------------- 🌎✍️What is RTS LINK MALAYSIA-SINGAPORE? Well, Rapid Transit System Link (RTS LINK) is a mega project between Singapore and Malaysia. RTS LINK PROJECT is a Railway Shuttle link approximately 4km in length with 2 Stations, one in Bukit Chagar Johor Bahru, Malaysia and one in Woodlands, Singapore. The link will be a modern Light Rail Transit (LRT) System that will provide high volume, fast and efficient transportation system between the two stations. The link will be integrated with public transport systems at both stations, providing an alternative means of transportation that will help alleviate the congestion at immigration checkpoints for both countries. The link will have a capacity of 10,000 passengers per hour, per direction and an expected ridership of about 40,000 passengers per day upon opening. Malaysian Immigrations, Custom and Quarantine (ICQ) and Singapore Customs, Immigration and Quarantine (CIQ) facilities will be co-located within the same building to allow the entire immigration process of leaving and entering both countries to be completed at the station. Hence, upon arrival, passengers will just leave the station without needing to go through border crossing again. RTS LINK is 65% completed as per 31 Dec 2023. It is scheduled to be completed by December 2026 and start operating on January 2027. As of January 2024, The RTS is planned to begin operations by End of 2026.
