Hey little big sis, Happy New Year 🎊 to you and Vin Man.
Remember, traditional African cooking are slow cooked meals by nature, not Ramen noodles.
Truth be told, anywhere in the Motherland where such foods are prepared, especially in the villages it's a labor of love.
And we African men love old school slow cooked meals.
Am sure Vin man is one proud and happy fellow.
Be blessed beloved.
Take care of yourself and each other.
RESPECT 🖤
This is a clear example of the resilience & fortitude & the tenacity of the strong African women.
No need for the gym here.
Just the preparation of the meal will keep you fit.
Nuff respect
Bless up 🙏🙏💗
I love that when he asks you to cook something, he is always cheering you on. ❤
One of the best things of many was when your husband said he would like to visit America. This would truly give him a greater sense of where you come from. This way when you guys are communicating with a raised level of his perspective and understanding. The conversation is preceded by from higher level. Word of wisdom. Africa is Africa and America is America. They both end in the letters rica so that’s a similarly. However, both continents, have their differences, Not just Africa. Bur America also! 😮😅
"Aren't they bored here, aint they ready to go home" 😂😂😂😂😂
Girl, I wish you luck in your endeavors. You're stronger and smarter than a lot of people.
Thank you for sharing.
Keep on being humble. You're such an inspiration.

Girl, hang in there! I can see by the look on your face that you're ready for this to end, everybody goes home and you are at peace!!!
You are blessed for the rest of your lives 🙏
I am from the Western Region and lives in Germany but the Northerners are the best 👏👏👏
Why am I finding myself singing that song you play in your videos?😂 I know I'm getting it all wrong, but I'm still singing it.
What you're hearing is Kora folk music from West Africa.
The Kora is a traditional stringed music instrument common in Northern Ghana Northern Nigeria Mali Senegal Gambia Guinea Burkina Faso to name but a few.
The blues music founded by African Americans in the South has its roots in Kora music.
Such a generous communion, Queen Sister. You have certainly acquired a thick skin.🎉
What a beautiful experience to learn a new dish from your mother in law. I’m sure the dish has a rich history.
TZ is so nutritious and delicious - I tried it during my recent visit to Accra, but I think the dish is traditionally loved mostly in the Northern region. Bless your MIL - she is looking very well, thanks for taking such good care of her 😇😘
Girl I feel you. Good news! A food processor is another option😊
They don’t like easy work. 😩
😂😂@@DIYHOUSEANDFARM
Lady I see so much talent, in the way that you're telling your story, you are indeed sensational, it's like I'm right there with you, thanks for the experience....❤💐
🙏💕 Thank you so much!
Wow! That looked sooo delicious. You had this Jamaican's mouth watering.😋
I Thank you for what you do and where you are at this time and moment in my life. Because of your decision to spread your wings and bring us here in America, for myself, Southern California. I truly enjoy the lessons that I am learning because of you. You could have been any where else at this time of your life. But you are on the Continent. Our Motherland. So I am embracing every single thing that I witness through your videos. Otherwise I would never had the opportunity to experience the things of the Continent. For that I am grateful. I am accustomed to seeing what I have experienced here in America, but not from the Motherland. The more you experience the culture of the Continent, the more we learn. God brought you there for you and for us. God bless you and my African brother and everything that you share with us. Take care and God bless 🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿👊🏿✊🏿👊🏿👏🏿🇧🇫🇧🇫
Did not close my eyes, did not want to miss a thing, did not even want to blink the eye, very authentic !
E.S. you got this! 😄 You all look so beautiful cooking together! Love it!
Thank you for the encouragement. 💕
Congratulations on the debut of your TZ and okra preparation! Es, you can it!
Yes, she can cause"she is in Africa" 😂
"Borderline slavery"... Hahaha, that's how I feel about some Indian dishes as well.
But I do wish I paid attention to some of the dishes my mother-in-law made that I really liked. I took it for granted and it's too late to get that knowledge now. Take care... Cook what you like Eat what you like and once in a while make the culinary dreams come true of someone you like, when you like 😁
I can't wait to see this TZ, lol. You can do it. Love the friendly argument. Lol
More movie magic. Your M-I-L is the epitome of Regal. Your contemplation between the two ladies. This is your magic. Well done with the TZ. Sometimes, it is the willingness that counts🎉
I love how happy everyone looks
I saw that. You had a moment and so did I. What a privilege for you. She passed the torch to you. What a humbling, spiritual moment for you. Your mom in law is beautiful inside and out and she loves you like a daughter. 🎉😢😢
AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME 👌 👏 👍 😍 💖 😎 👌 👏 👍 😍 💖

YOUR HUSBAND AND HIS FAMILY
You are awesome our African princess from the US. Thank you for sharing your story!
You are doing very well,Lady don't give for I know one day you will feel so proud of yourself for learning how to prepare these foods.
The way vim looks at you is so adorable, he's like "look at my wife, she's become African African typical country side woman". His smile says it all. I can't stop looking at your mother in law, she's so cute, very calm not loud like Nigerian mothers in law. Those will look at you from head to toes and say nonsense.
😆
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤proud of you ES...
Ur a quick learner good job

@AccidentalCarnivor
I hollered when she said “borderline slavery”. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

I think West African food preparations needs patience and energy. In the East ours is so simple.
@ec2s3 east, little flavor but more healthier 🤣
@kip2creation Iman
Bomb hairstyle
That looked like a full day's work. My arms are sore just from watching, but I bet it tastes delicious. Is there a vegan version/recipe for us non-meat eaters?

I'm very happy for you sweetheart❤ you did well stirring the TZ🎉 you're a good learner.
You would get used to it, cooking African dishes seems stressful but trust me it's a journey of experience joy and it keeps you active asa good wife.
No into dem long cooking deh at all. Need a day off for that. Learn that we can dry the okra and use later. Great job !!
So enjoyable! Thank you for sharing!💖💖
I love this Tuo Zaafi with Ayoyo and other versions of African foods from the South of Africa. I am realizing similarities with my tribe. Well done.
My opinion, since you have added your mother in law and her bestie to your channel it has been a win win for me. I love watching you guys. I literally can’t wait for your next episode!!! Thank you for sharing your story and family with us!!💕💕💕💕💕💕
You did very well 👏 👌 😂😂
Am I the first to comment u guys are always in my mind
In the way you look Lil uncomfortable not sure you can do this it was so much but your mother in law is a great teacher I was cheering you on over here I said ES you got this you are very smart, when my Ghanaian fiance come to America I'm to say here you are in AMERICA! 😅 but I will learn his dishes also
Very nice ladies. Peaceful day
You guys are amazing storytellers well done team 😊❤
I learnt something new today when preparing staple meal. Thank your mother in law! I never thought about saving some boiled water at the beginning for later stirring! This will made it easier for me while preparing our Zambian staple dish N’shima (maize flour).
I really enjoy your videos with your MIL, your are blessed to have her and she have you! ❤️🇿🇲
Looks sooo delicious
It's too much for one dish. It must be good to labor so long to eat it. At least you all had fun preparing it. I enjoyed watching.❤❤❤❤😊😊😊😊🐒
i love northerners food,tz,tuo zafi
Please what lotion do you use? Your skin is flawless!!
Proud of you Money. You are receiving generations worth of knowledge . Just wait till they see the twist you add to that dish.
I am laughing again😂😂😂😂. You can do it😂 remember “Roots”
Hi Es I'm south African and I love to try other African food from allover Africa but some of their food is too much work before you cook them especially western Africa 😂😂
Love it! ✨️💜✨️
“Borderline slavery” I hollered!!! 🤣 but talking about some toned arms though! Once I leave US to visit or live, I'm going the vegetarian route; maybe chicken and fish every now and then. If I can't recognize the meat I can't eat it.
Maankahli is fresh okro while maankuuni is dried okro ,she said fresh okro has two ways of preparations.
Lovely ❤
The soup and fufu looks AMAZING!
Love your videos, and your union. One observation though, the monkey's leash appears to be rather short. It would be nice if he gets a longer leash and maybe a money friend as a companion.
He’s on a short leash for a reason. Kills baby chickens.
Lol....they not bored here. They not ready to go home.😂😂😂😂😂
TZ is my favorite ❤ however, cooking african food is very tedious. Very proud of you❤
Nice content ❤❤❤❤
You had me at borderline slavery 😂😂😂😂 I’m a Ghanaian but I like an easy life I used to pound yam fufu for my dad and i stopped when I started boarding school and started feeling embarrassed about the calloused hands I had so I told my mum I am not pounding any more so she got the area boys to do it
You are funny! You're in Africa which means you will be learning a lot, and enjoy the process. Yes, I would try to make it and taste it. I’m not a fan of okra. ✌️🏼❤️
Ooh wee!!! You like me, getting tired just watching Mommy go😂😂😂 Don't even need to do no arm curls after that 😂 Kinda looks like Grits or Cream of Wheat. Wat it tastes like?
I love you both!❤❤❤❤
Nice, you are a real champ ❤😢
All of this work can be done with mixer. They do a great job. I believe all Africa women aren't still cooking without modern tools. Good luck to you my sister.
We want to stick to our traditional ways . Is not like people can not afford blenders and what have you. People do have them. But l appreciate our mothers still practicing the traditional ways. No body can take that away from us.
@@adwoachavis9941Good answer 👋🏾👋🏾👋🏾
It's easier preparing this soup, just prepare your light soup add dawa-dawa and your dried okra powder and give it some 5m and you are done.
Hellow from tanzania
You need a mixer and blender 👍🏾
Mother in law muscles should be bigger than her son's muscles. All that warm work.
The food looks good, but couldn’t you use a blender or a food processor? 😀
Traditional foods in Africa cooked the old school way are a labour of love, not the fly by night foods you have in modern cities.
Ask any African man, from anywhere in the Motherland the difference between grandmas or his mamas cooking and what he gets to eat in the city, he'd be hard pressed to deny the obvious 😂
What is the English word for dawa dawa thank you
Beautiful...!😂😂😂
Thanks for telling our African experience in a positive way. We call it Posho in Uganda. For us we use only corn flour, no mixtures. But prepared the exact same way. If you are married to an African man, that one is a must to learn. Don't take it in a bad way, its all love.
It is taken in a bad way when it is not enjoyed.
@@DIYHOUSEANDFARM 🤣
@DIYHOUSEANDFARM pivot (mind shift) and embrace the process. You don’t have to cook it all the time😂
@@DIYHOUSEANDFARM . well, the old ladies and Vinman seem to enjoy it.
That’s fufu 😂. See he was goin too far asking if you were excited. 🤣🤣
Love u two
