- Hey friends, here's a quick tutorial on how to install both types of d-rings that I'm selling on my site.

Nicole thank you again! I used the wide D-ring and left it flat at the top of a bag, and I wasn't a fan. Seeing you bend that hardware was a game changer for me. Thank you for your honesty as you work through the bend.
It’s my favorite way of installing it! I’ll be posting an updated folding video on my Patreon very soon, I found the best way to get a nice fold!!
Really like that you didn't edit out where you crimped it down a bit too far and had to redo it. That's how we can learn what to do in those kind of situations. Excellent work.

Hi, I didn’t increase it by a percentage. I started piecing a panel and once I had a decent size I cut it to become two. The top panel itself is around 12” wide by 8” tall maybe? It’s been a while since I made the bag so I can’t remember really 😬
what is the pattern for the bag you are using? I love it.
It’s my mini box tote but I enlarged it and made a pieces panel for the top section!

It’s not an actual pattern but it’s very similar to the mini box tote, just much bigger!
