Second only to Jubaea - my favorite genus .Somewhat rare and always expensive. I gathered seed of the B edulis on the main drag of Coronado when I was there a few months ago
How do I take care of my 100+ year old Brahea Edulus? I didn’t know what it was until I watched your informative videos. I have waited for the dates to turn black. Some are black now. They are sweet but very dry and pithy. How do I improve my fruit. It is on the verge near Trolley Barn Park, University Heights, San Diego in front of my 1915 era Craftsman. I saw a picture from the early 1920’s and it is there!
Nice. You should be very proud of that plant. Water it more and the fruit might plump up. But to be honest, that fruit would be a delicacy if you were stranded on Guadalupe Island, but certainly not if you live anywhere near a Trader Joe’s.
I will share this video to my FB group People who love Palm trees & Exotic plants
Love the two I picked up from you. Doing great in Lakeport, Lake County, California!
Good to hear
Great looking palms
Great palms :)
Cool movie. More palm trees please

Is 18" of good soil enough depth? 🤔 🙄 😕 😒
Too Bad the brahea edulis does not survive in zone 8a
Did you take a brief amounts of 15 to 18° but that's about it.
