Hi Alex it’s always nice to hear from you. Your tropical garden is amazing. We are dealing with Milton right now. So far so good. Looks like landfall will be towards Orlando. These storms just don’t want to give up. I’ll be planting a winter garden. My husband loves Palms he planted one in our front yard it’s huge. Until next time enjoy your garden
Man I absolutely love your Garden I also have a hearty tropical garden in zone 7a in Pennsylvania and I love growing sable minors and needle palms and I’m planning on getting a windmill palm
Bismarckia seems like a tough one to overwinter indoors. Great looking plants. I did notice that the plumeria looks like it wants some fertilizer to help green up a bit.
Thanks for the kind words! I definitely had more luck with Bismarkia keeping it as an indoor-outdoor plant through the winter whenever it was sunny. I had no problems this winter, but found them to be finicky even when I lived in Florida when they're young! The plumerias are starting to get a lighter green color because I am keeping them dry so they will go dormant inside. They will get a big dose of fertilizer in March!
Very informative video. We have a Sago Palm tree. We have been moving it indoors during winter for the past 16 years. But now the pot and tree are too big and heavy to move. Any suggestions on planting it outside in New Jersey?
Thank you for the kind words! Wow 16 years is so impressive for a sago palm! Do you have an attached garage that you can use a dolly to wheel it into? It should be able to survive there when temperatures drop below 30F outside as long as you wheel it out on mild days. If you plant it outside in NJ it'll survive if you can keep it about 15 degrees warmer than the outside temperature on the coldest nights of the year. They might get burned but will come back with that kind of cover!
Welcome back to TH-cam Alex! Great to really get to see your garden in length and detail.
Thank you my friend! I enjoy seeing your garden too, your place is truly one of a kind. Absolutely inspiring!
@@AlexCalamiaTV Thank you Alex!!!

As a young girl my family lived in Miami and when we went to the beach my brother and I would find coconuts that had sprouted. Fun memories.
Thank you so much, stay safe with Milton. It's a rough night in Florida. I hope it is the last for a long time!
@@paulineparker3662 That is amazing, and they sell them for about 20 dollars so you could make a buisiness out of that today! haha

I love to hear you share the same passion in PA! Windmill palms are a great addition for that extra tropical height!
