The new crane connected to the Jesus Tower at the Sagrada Familia - 17 April 2024

That giant piece going up is to connect or hold the crane and the Tower of Jesus!
This is a video about the progress of the construction of the Basilica of the Sagrada Familia in Barcelona, recorded between 11 and 17 April 2024.
I am recording the movements of the works of the Sagrada Familia to publish a video every week. I would like to continue it until the culmination of this unique architecture.

The reason of this new crane connected to the tower is because they are now building more things inside the tower easier or they'll just make the crane (so the crane wont fall when it attached to the tower) added 10 feet taller for the eleven level panel to be constructed since the 10 level panel is finished back in January

I bet they're thinking that in retrospect, they should have built the largest tower first and worked their way inside out, rather than outside in. Oh well, issues like this are bound to pop up when construction takes 100+ years. At least we know why that steel frame was attached to the tower now

I wonder why they put that Bridge there for? Maybe more stability?

Yes, usually a crane that size will either be placed in the building and grow with it, or be put next to the building and connect to it with a series of braces. The eccentric shape of the jesus tower and the existing towers make maneuvering the crane tricky, so they came up with this solution
