Was that the main crane? Was it in the way of something else they were working on? Or was it something logistic, like the lease ran out, lol.
Either way, happy to see they announced the 2026 completion date is back on. It looks like they still have a lot to do, but they are moving pretty quickly, and they have the money.

I'm not sure about the 2026 deadline as I think the entire Glory facade will still need to be built

@@Eraeraeric it seems like they've got a good system in place, the 4 evangelist towers flew up, and the glory facade doesn't even have complicated statues to install as their finial.

@Lv-nq9qz a lot of news articles are stating that it will be complete in 2026 but that's only the central towers, the glory facade, baptistry and nave roofs won't be completed until 2032

CNN news published an article that SF works will be completed in 2026, and media around the world - except Spain - translated and published it. Reading the article carefully, the only one that SF said was the completion of the Jesus tower in 2026. Surely the writer understood it to be the last tower, and published it without confirming the progress of the works. A terrible mistake on the part of the media.
