I am not a fan of Matrix boards but I understand what they are going for. This board though, it is obviously a me too imitation but it looks too random. Smily face, screens, dot matrix LED they just jammed everything into it just because. It doesn't tell what the vision of the designer was, what they were going for except for checking some boxes. Maybe it has some novelty for novice keeb enjoyers but it is for sure going to be a fleeting one and after awhile you will be asking wtf is this on my desk. The two keys sticking out on either side of the badge is the most tasteless thing I have seen recently. It is so goofy.
Not that PrintScreen, ScreenLock, and Pause were particularly useful, but I feel that shifting keys in the nav cluster up a row messed with my muscle memory.
The bottom weight section is not well designed. Too many unnecessary lines. The components are awkwardly placed. I don't understand their design intent.
I feel they ruined a nice design by placing those "1😀1" badges, it only makes the board look dumb. Thank you Markerchun for another wonderful video!

I am pretty sure you can opt to not use the badges and use normal switches if you prefer
@@ziich1 Not possible unless they change the board. You can see at 1:09 how in the PCB there isn't an hotswap socket for where the badge is.

the pcbs are mislabelled, video is showing non flexcut at top but that one is actually flex cut with rgb, the middle one is the non flex cut pcb 1:09

Goodlord, these QC boards get tackier every time. The badges look make it look so cheap. Not sure why there is this obsession with copying Matrix.
