That is because bhaiya i have seen quite a few people in my relatives who did engineering from core branches but they say that core mein package offer nhi hote and remote areas mein job lgti hai. Also future saara tech dikh rha hai ?

@@aspirant5 I would suggest you give it a good thought. If you are genuinely interested in CS then you go for your branch in the best college you are getting. But if you are not sure then I would always suggest to take a better college as it will provide you a better peer group and better opportunities. And dekho you know nowadays sirf degree is not important. They look at your overall knowledge and development as well. So I would suggest you to think hard over it as rest of your life will heavily depend on the choice you make. Just never regret your choice. And this is coming from someone who chose bits over chemical in BHU. And I will never regret this.

Ya your doubt basically highlights your stress on the fact that is there any negative impact of DUAL Degree on placements .No it is completely not like that it will just add plus points only as such it does not have a negative impact.
just a question that im hoping anyone could answer me, im currently getting data science manipal (main campus) and with my MET rank i feel like i have chances to get IT or CS with financial tech. during the last few rounds, on the other hand with my BITSAT score im getting Msc's in all campuses, im ready to work hard for another year that isnt the problem, but is the risk of leaving a data science seat for a BITS dual degree seat worth it??
@@sarthakmishra648 it depends on the students. Like if you are opting for branch change you need to score the same as the top5 students of that branch. So the cutoffs change every year but a 9+ cg can highly increase your chances.
Again it depends upon the cut off for a particular year but ya if you want to shift from one MSc degree to other again a very high Cgpa of around 9 is to be achieved

You will be allocated with the branch whatever Dual Degree Branch that you will choose in the preference order based on your BITSAT Score other than this there is no specific criteria for applying in the dual degree
Yes it is a MSC DEGREE+BTECH DEGREE MSC degree will be alloted to you in the BITSAT iterations if you choose for it and Btech degree will be alloted to you in the second year based on the first year CGPA.
