Hello Robert. Welcome to Thailand Hope you have great and happy time here. Please forgive us(Thais) if there are any mistakes here. I am here to teach you some Thai words. .. when you want to ask.... 1. What is this called? You can say this in Thai like this " Aun Nee - Reak - Wa - Arai -Krub/Ka ( Krub for males, Ka for femals - This makes what you are saying in Thai sound more polite. You can omit this word but it would be better to say. ) 2. How much? You can say " Toa Rai - Krub/Ka" in thai - How much per piece? ="Aun - Ra - Toa Rai - Krub/Ka" in Thai. 3. When you want to say "I will take this" in Thai, you just say " Aou - Aun Nee - Krub/Ka while you are pointing at it. - If you want only one, you say ' Nueng Aun" you also can show your one finger. One = Nueng ( one finger) Two = Song ( two fingers) Three = Sam ( three fingers) Four = See ( four fingers) Five = Ha ( five fingers) When you want more than one piece of that , you say "Song/Sam/See/Ha Aun" while you are pointing at that. 4. When you will pay, you say " Tung Mod - Toa Rai Krub/Ka" in Thai. This means " How much in total? In total/ In all/ totally = Tung Mod How much = Toa Rai SOME THAI WORDS THAT YOU SHOULD LEARN Meat = Nuea Pork = Nuea Moo Chicken = Nuea Kai Fish = Nuea Pla Beaf = Nuea Wua Pork in this dish, right? = Nai - Ahan - Nee, - - Nuea Moo - Chai Mai in = Nai this dish = Ahan-Nee , right? = Chai Mai Yes = Chai No = Mai Chai Hope this could help you more or less. Take care of yourself..
Let me explain something to you. Not spring rolls. They are meat balls. Thai people call them " look chin". It depends on the type of meat, Fish/pork/ chicken / fiish balls. What you are eating from the second vender are Thai snacks. They are ... 1. Kleai kaek = deep fried battered sliced banana 2. Khai Nok Khata = deep fried sweet potato balls 3. Khai Hong = dough stuffed with stir fried bean ball and coated in sesame seeds and then deep fried Thai desserts are what you is eating from the last seller. They are for anyone who has a sweet tooth.
0:16 They are just confused about the price of their food. 1:35 He said there was a bean inside. 4:55 is a fish ball. 7:04 is Thong yip (flower egg yolks tart) 7:48 is Med Kanun (Mung Bean Yolk)
Translation: 0:24 It is a joke banter between the Thai man and sausage ladies!😂 She told you “5 pieces 10 THB” and the guy said “it is 10THB each. How can you sell 5 pieces for 10! You are gonna go bankrupt!” And another lady just fired back jokingly “ it is my business, my price. You fool!”😂😂😂😂
I like watching your video in Thailand 🇹🇭. It will be much easier to communicate with Thai people if you learn how to speak Thai! I mean just some basic Thai words! Hi, hello - Sawaddee crub How much - taow rai crub What is this called- Nee cue arai crub I want this - pom oaw babnee crub Thank you - khob coon crub
You have led my country very well dear. These two vendors are not polite at all. I am very proud that you have presented a very good tour of Thailand. Thank you very much.❤
Most Thais, especially older people, can't speak English because in the past, education was bad and didn't reach the poor people. For children today who do not speak English, there are few things that are not willing to study or do not have the courage to speak. I'm sad just thinking about it.
Yes its true back in the day here in Thailand we didnt learn English much just like hello and thank you goodbye and yk easy stuff but mostly not learning any English
Did you ever get food poisoning from any food in Thailand? Im going at the end of the year and am kind of nervous to try the street food. I really want to try it because it’s so cheap and looks amazing!
It was never a problem for me. If you want to try the street food, I would suggest to eat where the locals eat because if they keep coming back, then they never (most likely) had that problem either. Also go to the places where there’s a big line. That way you can guarantee that the food will be fresh and cooked right in front of you instead of it laying there for hours if there’s no customers.
0:21 Because some people in Thailand not pretty good in English or can't speak English, and they quickly find anyone near by to translate English to thai for them :)
00:33 she say that you are handsome then me 1:36 he say it falover bua Bua=lotus 🪷 I guess- sorry if i say worng cause I can’t hear it clearly Im thai by the way and i love English but thai are hard a little bit like Hi are you ok=สวัสดี เธอ โอเคไหม? Im fine=ฉันรู้สึกโอเค
I am Thai 0.16 they argued about that she (the seller) would tell wrong price.This is because she is not good at english 4.25 she said about what you picked stick1 : she said khai which means egg fried , stick2: she said sâi gròk which means sausage fried
Thank you for coming to Thailand. And hope that both of you will come back to travel in Thailand again. And there are many types of food that you guys haven't tried yet. And there are many local foods that I would like you to try.
The first lady she can’t speak English so the people around her ask her about the price. and the second shop he said Sai-Oua. Sai Oua or northern Thai spicy sausage made from pork seasoned with spices and herbs like lemongrass tumaric garlic.
They were laughing because the female vender gave the wrong price. Its 10 each not 5sticks for 10 bath. “How u going to live with that price” the male vender laugh. > the meanball u dont like is fishball in Rugby shape.
I am not sure if you are a Thai. There are many mistakes in Thai! งี่เง่า, not งี่ง้าว / พูด, not ผูด / สื่อ, not ซื่อ / อังกฤษ, not อังกฎ Please don't get me wrong. I just wanna correct these Thai words, not discredit you.
0:16 They said ”is this how Burj Khalifa looks like?”
Definitely not
No, that's not
No?

Hello, Thai people are glad that you visit Thailand. Have a nice trip here.
If you come to Thailand, you must go to some other provinces like Chiang Mai. Huge variety of food, there's a lot more to it than you might think.

3. When you want to say "I will take this" in Thai, you just say " Aou - Aun Nee - Krub/Ka while you are pointing at it.
- If you want only one, you say ' Nueng Aun" you also can show your one finger.
One = Nueng ( one finger)

When you want more than one piece of that , you say "Song/Sam/See/Ha Aun" while you are pointing at that.
4. When you will pay, you say " Tung Mod - Toa Rai Krub/Ka" in Thai. This means " How much in total?
In total/ In all/ totally = Tung Mod
How much = Toa Rai
SOME THAI WORDS THAT YOU SHOULD LEARN
Meat = Nuea
Pork = Nuea Moo

As a thailand, people from other countries came to our country because our food is very cheap.
1 dollar = about 30 baht

This is why they're so easily brainwashed by the current Thai government and their medias PR

It's a very disgusting person. Thai people are not mistaken for not knowing the language. You have no right to criticize other Thai people.😠
