Oh no! I am a retired American Airlines flight attendant! American was so much better when I was flying. Believe me, flights that are late, oversold, mechanical problems, lost or damaged luggage, and canceled flights are all NIGHTMARES for the agents that work at the airport! I worked as a ticket, gate and baggage agent for 5 years BEFORE I became a flight attendant for years. Working at the airport was the most STRESSFUL job I ever had! You couldn't pay me all the money in the world to fly again! Some passengers are horrible now! Sad how our world has changed since my airline days! 😥
So sorry that y'all had a terrible experience!
