These guys are rocket scientists, with their filtration and tank setups. I had 7 tanks in my bedroom in my teenage years in the 1970s. I was the only one in Napa to have saltwater tank All I had was under gravel filters. Fish thrived . Victor is a badass

LOL I keep mostly livebearers, the largest fish in my biggest tank are probably the botia (yoyo loaches) so a Jack Dempsy seems like a big fish to me, comparatively. So hearing it described as a small fish feels weird, lol! Of course it's tiny compared to the monster fish you have and are seeing here, it's just such a different perspective!

I absolutely love Victors Channel, his fish always have such pristine water and he does most of these builds himself. My favorite still is his filtration setup for the outdoor pond that's insane he has it going over the top of the pond., like a floating canal it's wild.

Holy cow he has some crazy tanks. You guys need to add on to the storage shed (using 'same footprint' ofc) and have two 4500s in there. Bam, one on each side and just an aisle to walk down the middle lol. Also how can u not have Sturgeon envy now!? Especially living just south of Lake Erie :)

Right!! That is so awesome and scary! I am glad that we don't have to worry about that in our lakes up here in the north! I've seen some people have little alligators or crocodiles as "pets". I dont know anything about it but if it would be feasible/ethical that would be a neat addition to OFR. (Obviously not a species that could ever get that large)

I love your black sharks! I had one reach 14 inches in a 20 gallon. No one in our local Aquarium Society had ever seen one bigger than 6 inches. They were rare up here in Alaska. This was back in the 90's. She lived in there by herself, I would have had her in a larger tank but I just ran out of room. She grew up in there, i bought her when she was only 1 inch. She lived about 12 years. My mother would bring her a strip of Zucchini once a week, it was her favorite!

Me too! I am excited to watch him. I dont even have a single aquarium but I love learning about them. It is nice to find knowledgeable and trustworthy people to watch. Some youtubers buy fish for clickbait and don't know anything about them. Nice to see people that are truly in it for the fish and hobby. 😊

I'm subscribed to Victor's channel but I've never seen his back yard before. It's absolutely amazing and he should do more videos back there for sure. I've gotta make the trip down sometime soon he's only about 3 hours south of me.
All I can say is GAWD!!! I watch this one youtube kid catch all these in Florida ponds and road side water catch. And they are tiny. But to see them these sizes...its mesmerizing

I can not believe how big tin foil barbs get! I had a tank as a kid and had babies compared to thosemonsters. When I first saw your channel it's was like all the fish tank fish I had just monster size. Really awesome. Binge watching videos as of now
