Anyway, two Bobcats one with a bucket (45) and one with a blower (49), an old John Deere 770 clear snow from the curb. This the first time in a few years that I've seen the the 770 out in the wild since it's only assigned for snowstorms and today's case snow removal.
OMG SO CUTE!!! Those little snow blowers on skid steers😂 come see how it's done in Montreal. We got snow blowers that could chew up and spit out a full size van😅
Great video! That old JD grader is sweet. This year the strategy of waiting for the snow to melt in between storms just wasn't working.

Very cool video. Where I live it hardly ever gets cold enough to snow. When it does an inch will shut the city down or sometimes even the threat of snow will shut schools down. I really do not like the cold and would never live up north because of that and other reasons. Normal high temp in Jan is 60 here.

skid steer should have gone onto sidewalk and pushed the snow onto street
It actually did after the motor grader passed. The city have an odd way of operating snow removals... I'm sure there is a reason for this
that 6 foot of snow is no match for that grader or skid steer in one shot. use what you have but the perfect equipment would be 100% all new equipment, if it isnt' the blower, skidsteer.. then its the baby truck. use what you got, be glad they removed it.
First off, I’m a Snow and Ice Management professional, and I think you guys did a great job with what you had to work with. However, I think the taxpayers money may be better spent by hiring contractors to do this. It doesn’t appear that this type of work is what you guys are most efficient with.
It’s always cheaper to do it your self even if it takes a little longer if it wasn’t snowing they didn’t have much to do anyway .

Cool. I've seen the video it looked like last years snow removal where State DOT Cat front loader with a loud blower which could wake up the whole neighborhood.
Bobcat push snow is better than pull. It could also load the truck snowblower is also good for sidewalks and move snow to the road. never done these jibs but watched works make mistakes operating these machines but they will learn if they get training. Hope they watch this video and learn their mistakes and correct them for next year send a copy to the Mayor to see. good video anyways.
just watching this video being from a place that deals with snow most of the year lol yes it does look like they have no idea what they are doing and it's easy to talk shit on the Internet but these folks are doing the best they can with what they got so good job

TOTALLY, I MEAN TOTALLY stupid to have a mini blower. That causes wastes of time lost blowing when not having a proper sized city blower.
