I own nexon, have been driving for almost 1 and half year with no single defects till now. I usually drive in hilly areas with condemned road and the suspension is superior & the handling is amazing. Nexon is a masterpiece machine 😎
Great Video Vinod ji , After watching all your videos on nexon my research has become over , I booked Nexon -D and I also love long travelling on highways that’s diesel and quite a bit on difficult terrain which needed ground clearance hence nexon can be the best choice in compact SUV segment in this price range
Booked Nexon for the same reason...We have farms where there is no road to commute..after watching this video, I am confident that we can go to our farms with nexon..
I did this route and Mumbai to kargil army base via Manali and return via Kashmir in my 2006 3 litre safari vx (top model). I did solo. Kashmir to ajmer 30.5 hrs with 5 stops. 2 days rest and ajmer to Mumbai 22 hours one shot. I didn't even have to top of coolant on return. This is tata. All original parts still working...including reverse camera and abs (air bags haven't tested yet 😆). Lcd screens only aren't working. It came with Blaupunkt then. 4 by 2. 320nm torque. Does 100kmph in 5th gear at just 1750rpm
@vinod ji I have Nexon petrol XMS .. I have drove it to some very difficult terrain, ofcourse not Ladakh level but still those are difficult, with 5 people 1child and luggage but it has never given me any trouble any day . It's a fantastic car but yes below 2000 rpm the engine is bit underpowered... That is true
After driven 45000km my 2 yrs old Nexon having suspension soft problem. Feels like my suspension/ shock absorber is not functioning properly, over reacting in small pot holes, feels like body rolling in turning, latterly jumping my car body in small pot holes😢😢😢 but in service centre they found nothing what to do guys.
This is the issue I am also facing and it is the story of all the manufacturers unfortunately, suspension degrades after usage and we will find a difference fir sure but companies consider it bad once its completely becomes useless, sad but true
Wheel change karwa liya aur bol rha hai power kam hai , sakhing ride thi... Koi isko samjhao ki wheel badalne se power , torque, suspension quality sab badal jata hai😂
Hi, Since my ride will be mostly in city, I have booked Nexon Petrol AMT. If I wish to take Petrol AMT on the terrain, on which Manual AMT was taken by you guys, will it work or should I keep away from this terrain?
i am getting 10 kmpl on petrol on proper highway on nexon xm+s. I dont understand why i am getting so low fuel economy. I have not done any modifications too.
I just went to Badrinath with 5 people and hell lot of luggage. I came across a point while climbing up a steep hill where the hand brake was not even working and car won’t even climb because of bikers overtaking and me eventually getting stopped. So I had to pull hand brake up until it can go and be hard on brakes. Then I released clutch and did half foot brake and race thing with hand brake, when the engine was past turbo lag, I immediately released hand brake and brake pedal and then car did the climb with full burnout😂, hell of an experience I had.
Its just a petrol engine thing, a diesel has hot of torque even at lower rpms so you won't need to rev diesel a lot. If anyone has been to Matheran (in raigad Maharashtra) you will easily be able to understand a petrol engine and how to pick it up on very steep inclines.
@@RidiculouslyAmazing Thank you. But in comparison between disel and petrol ,is turbo lag in disel in a matter of concerns in upclimbing in hill roads.???
NEXON petrol easily did it but diesel is preferred if available due to torque. NEXON diesel 18.8 and petrol 15 on total 3300 KM You won’t believe that Thar gave ~16.5 kmpl
I have completed just ladakh trip in snow with nexon xms videos are available on my channel. Details videos re also coming..vinod ji next time i want to go with u.

Is the claimed mileage true then? Steering and MID calibration is done after the wheels change? The alloy wheels are op though.
It’s all true and no calibration is needed

We took Zanskar and Pangong to Manali route, which is tough else normal ladakh route is normal and NEXON amt can easily do it 👍
@@RidiculouslyAmazing Thank you for responding.
Nexon amt not good in highway overtaking 🥴👎
What is the average of the petrol amt Nexon in city?
U won’t get on demand torque on AMT manual is best always in all car segments
Does the petrol lack power below 2000 rpm even in sport mode?
A little turbo lag initially but rumbles beyond 2k rpm
i am getting 10 kmpl on petrol on proper highway on nexon xm+s. I dont understand why i am getting so low fuel economy. I have not done any modifications too.
The only problem with Nexon in hills is that it needs frequent gear shift due to less power in low RPM

@@vicky19965 Why applying handbrake, Nexon has hill hold assist
@@AroopRatanSaha hill hold assist works upto certain angle. After that your car would simply roll back. I have experienced it.
