Ofcourse the E chassis code M3 is one of its kind. The sound is absolutely amazing. And especially the one of its kind “V8” motor that the Germans put in that generation M3. In 2008 this car was probably at its highest peak. Great video! And driving clips!
Have this exact car and agree with all comments - we got ours as a weekend cruiser that we can put two car seats in. The exhaust, which is stock, sounds great. The kids love it. We have the DCT which is fun, sounds nuts on downshifts, but is not an MT. The upside is my dad can drive it without making everyone nauseous. The handling is good. It's not leaps and bounds better than our E9? wagon, which is a 6MT, and is also really fun to drive.
Tommy L Garage “your” I should say, but yea no problem. F80 m3 has grown on me, I’m a c63s kinda guy but your bmw is sick. Can’t wait to catch up on your videos.
It's strange to me that people say you cant track a convertible. e93 is very stiff. Might not be as stiff as e92 but it is not that bad! Some more weight as well but for experience, the convertible wins easily any day. Well not on a rainy day. ;)
Ok - what was done to that exhaust? Did your buddy do the 2 or 4 pipe mod on the stock system, or is it aftermarket? I ask because it is total rice crispies - snap, crackle and pop - way more than my current stock e92M3. I realize that it is a convertable and you can naturally hear more, but something HAS to have been done to it. And I want it. Sounds glorious. I plan on modding mine this winter, and want to make sure I do it right. Thanks.
Gregory Fuller Thanks for watching. I just asked him and he said as far as he’s concerned the exhaust is completely stock. He picked up the car when It was six months old and he bought it from a guy that he knew. Maybe because I was really revving it up the exhaust sounded louder? But I think anything you do to that exhaust sounds amazing. It is the best sounding M3 ever made. Period
@@TommyLGarage im not reffering to wind noise more of the wind feel. I dont like huge drafts if you know what i mean. I have sinus problems, but i would love to have an e93 m3 for mild weekend cruises. So wind drafts are not for me, thankfully im not tall so my head wont stick out from the car, just worried about inner cabin drafts.
One of the few people on youtube that uses good camera angles, when driving.
gelasio88 hehe thanks. No one needs to stare at my ugly mug.
Best YT video on this car - we need more e93 vids
Thanks! I’ll work on more of these. The owner is super cool

Gotta love it!!
That's exactly why I bought a E93, I never turn my stereo on... Upgraded Supersprint Exhaust and it simply sings...
Peter H yup. Best sounding M3 hands down
I almost bought that car before my blue 335 lol
i know this old but how much did it sell for kies???
I love how you said I'm 5'9 and added the 1/2 part😂 great video by the way!!
Haha I need that extra half!! And thanks :)
I have jus discovered your channel. Great reviews, comparos and mods suggestions (your F80 mostly). Keep doing this! Thank you.
REPO FINANCE thanks for being here !!!!
Great video. Where are you? Beautiful roads
Earned a sub. Love you f80!
CVC'S REVIEW thanks!!!

CVC'S REVIEW I’ve gotta say the c63 sounds a lot better than the M. That’s one thing that I dislike the most about the car. Otherwise it’s awesome
I'm heavily considering getting an E93. Thoughts on the limited edition 500?
If you like cruising? Yes. For sporty excursions I say get regular E92. Although if you can swing an F32 that’s even better. More potent engine
+Tommy L Garage Unfortunately the UK roads don't really allow for any sporty driving lmao, so it will be a cruiser ... Mostly
me too!
Love your videos Tommy and was keen to know what your thoughts were having recently acquired a 2009 E93 M3 😜!
It’s a lovely car !!

I’d love me a convertible
U sound like Christophe waltz
Haha I get that a lot
Yall see the jetta that passed them? (;
5:50 no way thats stock!?
Yes sir. Stock
@@TommyLGarage If that was the car you're driving then no it was not haha

Hey how did you get a camera in that angle? Did you just mount it to the back side window?
Yes !
what road is that?
Tommy. Does he have an interest in selling it ? I am not far.
It’s not my car
E9X for sound, F8X for speed
Could not agree more!
Or just mod the e92
Jason M F80/82 torque is something that is hard to replicate
Tommy L Garage for under $10,000 yes I agree
Is that burbles I hear?
Just a bit yes!!! Good ear
Tommy please tell me how is the wind in the cabin? Is it harsh or decent?
FX it was surprisingly good. I was very surprised at how little wind noise there was

@@RK1FX you will be fine especially when you have the rear screen on that kills any draft into the cabin
