@@theragoooverlord5021 I think it is because of Bradshaw's reputation as a jerk, people do not want to listen to him. Too bad, it is a great podcast, and Brisco is one of the last of the true legends left. Bradshaw earned his rep, he was a a jerk but it seems like he has matured as he has got older but it is hard to get past a guy who would soap naked young wrestlers behinds in the shower as a rib like he did to Edge. That is not a rib, that is flat out creepy.
Meanie is just such a sweet heart, how many people would've hold a grudge, sued or whatever over what happened that night with JBL. Way to be the bigger man Meanie.
It wasn’t just that, although that was the most public event between those two - JBL had bullied Meanie for years backstage - seeing them being cordial with each other here is beyond mind blowing
I can't believe it took me so long to discover this interview. I've watched so many episodes, usually most interested in seeing the old CWF guys that I grew up with, but this one was one of the best I've watched. Having heard so many tales of the heat between Meanie and Bradshaw, I was stunned that he would be a guest. Great stories, interesting and a lot of laughs.
Gerald Brisco is 76 years old and he has the same great communication skills as the younger "20-30 something"-year old podcast hosts you see these days. Bless him.
That's what happens when you don't spend a whole career taking stupid bumps for shock value. All the old time workers were safe, and many of them are still around to talk coherently
Brisco and Bradshaw is the best wrestling behind the scenes stories and wrestling history show on the internet, its excellent. Man there are some fantastic tales among the different interviews they've done so far.
Incredible interview and I have so much respect to you both for the way you handled things and talked so openly about it, and other topics on here. Congratulations too on reaching 14k subscribers!. Your show is always my most eagerly anticipated part of the week and I'm happy to see it going from strength to strength.
The first time I ever met Brian in person, I asked his Mrs. Meanie about this very incident. She assured me that it was water under the bridge. I didn't believe it until now.
This was awesome . Three different generations of pro wrestlers that are really known from three different companies in their prime having a good conversation. I love it.
Great listen, and I'm glad John and Meanie buried the hatchet long ago. I wish more wrestling fans would give this specific episode a listen and also keep an open mind. I know it's popular to crap on Bradshaw these days, and in this same video he admits to his mistakes and that he shouldn't bust balls with people before getting to know them, but I think many fans take it way too far. Again, a great video, and it always makes me happy knowing the wrestlers get along behind the scenes. I hope one of these days we get The Miz on here, and/or hear things from other guys' perspective.
I’m not even into wrestling but I feel like I’m sitting next to the table full of wrestlers who haven’t caught up in awhile talking about tales I which i can’t stop eavesdropping
Man I was so excited today when I saw that grilling Jr. Is the devoting an episode 2 Mr. briscoe. I came straight to this channel and picked a random/newer video just to Express my excitement that this is a opportunity to get a rub from some big names in the podcasting business. I'm sure I would have found it before much longer but I heard about this show you guys do from Brother Bruce of all people.
bwo was way better then the nwo. i'm just not a hogan fan. Bradshaw is my number one tag and singles wrestler. been watching old wrestling, so maybe i will go watch briscos stuff, i'm sure he's great. but the bwo really got me through the verbal torment my mom and aunt put me through. so thank you, all of you for putting your bodies through what you did for our entertainment.
I regret underrating JBL all these years. I'm glad I got to see him wrestle Big Show at a house show as WWE Champ in '04. I still remember it vividly despite being so young.
"Will You Stop !" - JBL / Gorilla Monsoon (to Bobby "the Brain/Weasel" Heenan, on the WWF's "Prime Time Wrestling" tv show). "He's becoming Lee Haney." - Bradshaw on Al Snow (in the present day, now resembles a Mr. Olympia / bodybuilder). The (Blue) Meanie did a great Raven impression.. "You still Want To ?" - Bradshaw on if Mr. Brisco wanted to fight Bruce Prichard (Brother Love). "I think that he's still scared until this day." - Gerald (on Bruce Prichard); R.I.P. to Blackjack Lanza... "It looked like a Baby in a Bean Bag Chair." - Meanie on his Members being exposed on the Titan Tron, during a match against Goldust (Dustin Rhodes).
OMG Hell just froze over!! I thought JBL truly hated Meanie - to see them together on the same zoom call being cordial with each other is beyond surreal to me….
Man this channel should be way more popular! Love Bradshaw, Brisco. Always fun to listen to behind the scene stories in the business, their careers, etc. And Blue Meanie being on the show and him and Bradshaw having fun together. I know I will say this, in the past, in everyone here in this planet, we have done things in the past that is not good and the true good humans regret it and apologize for it and move on and grow together. So we should learn in history, there be good times, dark times, but we must always destroy the dark times and live in the good every single day we have on this earth so we can all live in harmony and peace. and last thing, God bless Texas! best state in all of America, along with Florida.
Moe, Shemp & Curly were the Howard brothers of the 3 Stooges. Yeah Al Snow's Wrestling School in Lima was like a miniature version of the Manhattan Center with a balcony & stage that was above a bank I believe right in downtown Lima in one of the historical buildings.
People really need to quit rehashing that one incident and reigniting it. These two men obviously hugged it out long ago and bonded as friends soon after the incident happened; they have been good buddies since. It was a live pay-per-view in a very small, cramped space with way too many people there, so something was bound to go out of control and spark. Maybe destiny intended for Meanie and JBL to go at it, making everyone else in that building snap back into serious mode and safely go home for the night. It is possible that other, more tragic events could have happened that night if Meanie and JBL had not clashed. The Meanie and JBL incident made everybody else go, 'OK! That’s it! The show is over! Let’s pack it up and go home.'
marty go back you fucked up again! all joking aside this is some interview blue meanie is some of the best interviews online and this one isn't much different
Never heard of this guy. Must have been a WWE thing. He doesn’t look anything like a wrestler. He looks like a comedian. Love this show with Bristol, the legend and JBL the legend. Thank you.
Amazing to see JBL and Meanie exchanging stories. Brisco is a true legend. This was an incredible watch - kudos to everyone involved!
Why isn’t this show more popular? Love it!
I don't alot of people know about it, I didn't until 20 mins ago...
They must do it just for fun because they dont spend no money to advertise on it or go on other shows to plug it, etc.
Because people are distracted by snowflake channels to know of the great ones.
@@TheSweetestScience jbl one of my favorites of all time and i just now found out about it two hours ago lol
Meanie seems like a super down to earth and intelligent guy. Glad him and Bradshaw have grown up, this is good content.
Yo Bradshaw with Blue Meanie! Three words What The F*ck?
Another great “fly on the wall” show. Thank you to all involved for allowing the fans to be part of the talk. Well done, gentlemen.🤘
They both grew up is what happened. Well, grew up a little. They can still be giant kids.
It's too bad this podcast isn't more popular!
Seems like a secret part of the wrestling media that few know about but is cool. Recently Kane was a guest and he does not do many podcasts.

I agree.
Let the past be the past. Glad you guys are friends!
Starts a “this is awesome” chant,
Meanie is just such a sweet heart, how many people would've hold a grudge, sued or whatever over what happened that night with JBL. Way to be the bigger man Meanie.
Meanie was smart. He made a lot more money upping his profile with that little run than he ever could have had with a lawsuit.
It wasn’t just that, although that was the most public event between those two - JBL had bullied Meanie for years backstage - seeing them being cordial with each other here is beyond mind blowing
Incredible episode! Awesome to see the Blue Meanie as a guest on this great show. 👏

In the end times you will see some strange things.
Good to see these two hangin talking like friends. Meanie and JBL handled things like men do sometimes. You can fight and still become friends after.
This conversation was pure gold.
Love you Meanie, best combination of entertaining and accessible wrestler ever, thanks for everything.
This was such a great conversation.
I know they have patched things up long time ago, but it is still nice to see JBL guesting Meanie in his channel.
What I guess they settled their differences. Great to see!
Bradshaw has done his best to reform himself and change. He’s obviously very sorry for everything he did

No effing way! This is insane. Love it

Never thought in a million years that JBL and Meanie shared a same platform.
oh it was an eagles-cowboys thing, that all makes sense now
Damn!!!!!!
Big 👍👍 up to JBL for have in the blue meanie on
They were civil 14 years ago. Nothing new. Sure it's nice.
Was just searching about the incident between these two and was pleasantly surprised to discover this.
Inside the mind of the meanie. Raise the roof
i loved this podcast
Sirs, I was at the Raw in Memphis in 99 where Mr. Brisco and Mr. Patterson wrestled Vince and Shane and count myself lucky it was a mat classic!

Still blows my that Meanie hasn't been grabbed up by someone as an agent/producer.
Wow….. had to stop and watch this. Classic
