I am a former high School English teacher now, among other things, homeschooling my high school daughter. I had the brilliant idea that she could read some cannibalism focused texts this year! (She is a huge fan of the locked room series.). Any recommendations?
Carson, congrats on your process! I am curious as to whether or not you’ll apply to the job market this year? I am in the process of finishing my dissertation (transforming shitty first draft of chapter 4 into a more polished version) while applying to the job market and ohmygot what a whirlwind it is.
Congrats to you as well on being close to finishing, it sounds like we're at really similar stages! I'm actually not planning to go on the job market, I've decided not to pursue academia further after the PhD. My hope is to move into creative writing next, though I'm still figuring out what that's going to look like!
