She saw you sitting with your printed dissertation in front of you and said, "She finished her book?!" I explained what a dissertation is, and she announced that she really wants to read yours. Lol She kept talking about how proud you look and how pretty your hair is and how much you must love the idea of being awarded the title of doctor.

I am watching this vlog to calm myself down after I've submitted my master thesis and waiting to defend my thesis in 3 days. I am so nervous I think I might burst into flames because of the stress...

You’re feeling guilty about taking a little break trip, while some people are content doing drugs on their couch and not working at all! Be proud of yourself❤
Thanks! I use an external monitor, a laptop stand to put my papers on, and an ergonomic keyboard and mouse. Also have a footrest under the desk to keep my legs at the correct angle. If you were to only make one change for ergonomics I really recommend the laptop stand with a wireless keyboard and mouse, to bring your screen up to eye level and reduce the strain of being bent over! That made a huge difference for me. The monitor is icing on the cake since it lets me have multiple windows visible at once, and the ergonomic keyboard I need to reduce strain on a repetitive stress injury - I like my setup as a whole, but really just sitting in a good position with the screen straight ahead makes a world of difference !
