- Chores On A dairy farm are never done. So even during Christmas break the show must go on.
Thankyou to everyone who has watched my videos and supported me through the past year. I'm excited to see what the new year holds!
Sorry for the 10 second clip that is missing.

Diversification is the key Ben. You got the right thing going on there. Keeping calves healthy in wintertime is sure hard at times but they all look good. Continued success with the channel, I look forward to each new one
Happy New year from Ireland

Happy New Year to you and family. Never raised veal but I thought veal was only feed milk to get the creamy light meet.
Happy New Years to you to! As far as the veil calves I'm new to it to, and still learning.
Good day Ben Boy I was surprised when u said milk replacer is cheaper than milk
reminds me of a single mother who said "If soft drink is cheaper than milk at MacDonalds she will buy soft drink
Yes veal calves bring a good dollar,
Ths
Thanks for watching the videos! Appreciate the comment!
Happy new year to all of your family
Thankyou! Happy New years!
It's just a given that the newest tractors have more starting issues. Need battery shutoff
Has the ford tractor in the feed wagon done many hours ? . Love the vids
Oh yes, it has at least 30,000 hrs on it. A good old tractor!
Welcome to bringing in calves to raise for veal. We've usually had around 150 on feed as a side operation to our dairy farm for around 35 years. Generally it's money making. The real issue is keeping them healthy! There will be days you'll think its not worth it
Why's it called a Murphy switch, is it an irish thing
Honestly I'm not sure lol that's just always what my dad called it lol
Why are you breading all the cows to sexed seamen ? When I milked I only did the very best to sexed and the others to beef breads . Then again I was the only one making the decisions .
I shouldn't say all... most of them. Jake like most of the cows enough to want heifers out of them.
@@PondbankFarms By the looks of the heifer barn that you have a bunch of young stock . Expanding or selling ?
