I love seeing t90 games, I wish there were more on the channel outside of memes. His game against Hera showed how much potential he has to go top 50.
One of the reasons that T90 is so good at casting is because he has the skills to understand what the players are going through.

Loving games where T90 plays. The extra perspective in decision making is fun and the games are high level but have some T90 LEL energy mixed in which makes them super fun.

This game is a great demonstration of the Ratha's strong points. And also its fundamental limitations.
We get to see the virtues of a cheap knight replacement, the potential of a cav archer with 100 hp before upgrades, and also the disadvantages its size and lacking damage impose on it that prevent it from seeing widespread play.
Damn I think Phosphoru would have won that if he didnt accidentally waste so many units with bad waypoints.

Since the devs are adding quality of life changes left and right. A crazy change would be something similar to stances for monks. Just patrol the monks in and they pick their conversion targets, would really change everything!

Honestly, this game actually feels much more like how the game is actually MEANT to be played.
And here I am just fooling around with infinite research mod, building stone walls across entire map and sniping enemies from towers and castles...

My favorite thing to do with Rathas is show up with a big mass of them, sneak under the TC in melee mode, quickly tear it down, and then if any resistance comes, switch to ranged mode and snipe them, then go back to melee mode and continue my TC assault. It works against the AI every time, but it might be much harder to get it to work against a real player.
I think your previous videos making fun of his eco probably helped alert him to have better eco LOL

I wouldn't call this a "strategy", it's just "build castle and create unique units". The ram trick was a strategy all right.
There is also an analyst of what units work well for that, and the execution of the strategy.
Not everyone can do it and make it work.
The same way as turtling isn't just make walls and a lot of villagers.
It might be a simple strategy, but it still is a strategy.
