It has close to 8000 hours I bought it in 1980 the year I graduated high school had 1700 hours on it then. Still original clutch and TA, transmission and rear end all original. Been a very good tractor.

That's great to hear I am having one delivered this week I really like the ole red power they don't make tractors today that will last like these old ones ,from what I have heard about these German D358 motors they are good engine's but hard to start in cold weather you have any issues with that just curious, love the videos you and wife make you can tell that you two are good down to earth folks keep up the good work and stay safe out there.

I have never had the 826 not start it doesn’t have any block heater or anything. As long as you pull the fuel shutoff cable part way out to the over fuel position, it always starts if it’s really cold a little whiff of ether will make it fire off. Just have to make sure not to give it to much. But pretty rare that I have to give it any. Just so you know we are going to be having some videos on working on the old 826 this winter. We have a bunch of oil leaks that need addressed and needs new brakes. Hopefully we will get a bunch of that stuff done this winter. Thank you for watching.

@plowahead1581 Thanks buddy for the info on the starting I will definitely try that ,I am going to be using my 826 for one one of my hay tractors we have a 1206 also and it's a great tractor but I like the size of this 826 a little better for hay work hope I get as many good years out of the one I'm getting as you have yours ,look forward to seeing your upcoming videos on the leak repair keep up the good work really enjoy the videos my friend.
