I wonder that myself. I see it commonly in these videos so I’m guessing it’s some kind of regional thing, though I can’t rationalize how it could be worthwhile doing it this way.
It’s explained in the video. The spring was very wet so they couldn’t use mechanical weeding. At the very start it says this is a organic farm, so I guess they don’t use chemicals.
This is new, never saw a setup like this! Awesome video, thanks.
Love your video sharing ❤❤❤
Amazing video

Good potato good work ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Da ist sehr viel Erde bei den Kartoffeln im Anhänger. Muß das vor dem Einlagern nachsortiert werden?

So this way they are not spraying chemical to kill the leaf before harvest ?
Could be organic or they wanted to limit the amount of chemical, apparantly the spring mechanical weeding didnt go as planned.
4 rows?
Toch een wat vreemde machine
Where does the dirt go? It can't be that the material that the machine picks up is almost all potato by volume, right?

I enjoyed this, but the pacing felt a little off at times.

Welcome to the netherlands :D
Lekker sjekkie
what about that timestamp?
why didn't the let more room on the headlands? turning this way costs way to much time.
Better to utilize as much of the field as possible. Harvest is a slow process anyway.
Iets groter kopeinde maken
Large headlands would kind of ruin the idea of CTF.

А чому ти видалив свої був відео
je ne vois pas l'intérêt du tracteur à voie large , en voie normale il ne passerait pas dans les buttes ! ???
I just got done using a Ropa potato harvester on FS22.😂
that's the worst case I've seen so far of the CTF virus 😂
Not a fan huh? Could you explain why for those of us who haven't tried it? I must admit this looks all wrong
If it is 3 meters wide it should not be very useful except for this
Why this field is so weedy?
