Sir I requested a tools video or video for general tips and tricks about checking the LED tv. Also there are do you have videos on panel repair or what will you suggest for panel repairing.
Thank you for the great feedback. As for a video on tools and equipment, we don't yet have one of those but we can do that in the future. It may take some time before we have one. As for panel repair, we have 1 video but it's not very good. Doing panel repairs is tricky and it's not consistent. If I can, I will try and do more panel repair videos but those are hard to do.
Sir what if we don't have a BGA workstation like this. how can we do and repair a BGA-type chip with the help of only a heat gun or hot plate please explain this.
If you don't have a BGA rework station like the one we have, you could technically use a bottom heater with hot air from the top, but the thing is that you will risk warping and potentially damaging the board. Really to do the job correctly you should use a rework machine. If you don't have the right tools, your next step would be to send your mainboard to our repair facility for us to fix it on a component level for you. We do have flat-rate repair fees and a 1-year warranty on all our repairs.
IR BGA rework stations has thermo-profiles and will heat the chip in the most safe way possible. But a good bottom heater + hot air + experience can do that too.
The last part of what you said is the most important. My tech that does these repairs every day has over 15,000 reflows under his belt. He could reflow a board properly using a skillet and a hair dryer and achieve better results than someone with no training and no experience using a $20,000 machine. Experience and knowledge are key. knowing how boards warp, what to do in order to prevent that from happening, how long to keep the solder balls molten, when is it to much heat and so on is all crucial. PS Our BGA machine uses a combination of IR heat and convection.

Oh yeah. It's one of the eariler 3D TV sets, so it's one we still get in for repair commonly because of it.
