I like the concept. Im also picturing some flash between the bugger and the rabbit strip, and some eyes up front. Lots you could so with this combo.

Tie a similar fly I call it a Woolly Wonker,tied with a crossed eyed cone & rubber legs,very nice tie,try it in all white,tight lines 🤙
