Haah i remember my first supermanslide ... Jump on my knees an brake the momentum by falling flat, collecting myself way off cover. But nowadays i do sucseed wit it fine.
My first tourney this year got a 3piece from snake side as they were so focused on my team at 50/ D2 they forgot about snake since i made no call outs and snuck up. Also had one game me and my two friends just full sended past 50 and bunkered all 3 who were focusing me at snake.
For 400 dollars you can get an lv1, 170r, a dye dm 5 ir 6, these gun perform as good as any new mid to high end marker. But you may have to up grade the electronics on say a dye dm5 thru 10 to get it to shoot 10.5 nxl...but these are great markers ...got tgat old school thing going on
@@elicalvo3446 do it. Especially if you're just entering the competitive paintball scene, people will be eager to see how a player gets started and what kind of equipment is ideal for players who want to get serious.
First id just like to say, you really dont need a high level gun like a luxe to play a beginners tournament. An Etha or dye Rize will do just fine. But the used market is pretty fair priced. I've seen a lot of new players that will buy a brand new empire mini or axe for around $400-$500. For around the same price you can get a used planet eclipse. Probably an older model like a gtek 160 or lv1 or etha2. But still a high quality tournament gun for around the same price as an entry level electronic gun. There's also cheaper options.

Really cool and informative video. This sport is super fun. The guys at my local field helped me upgrade all my stuff from a mini gs. And halo too.
That's a nice setup you have on your display pic.
@@paintballdad908 thank you. I haven't made any videos yet. But. I want to soon. I want to make a paintball gearbag video.

I'd say that's a pretty good first gun.
