I farmed about a hundred div with this strat in the last week since you streamed it. It isn't the craziest d/hr or anything, but it's FUUUUUUN! You get to blast maps fast, get a ton of gold, and pick up tons of chaos+ drops each map. Thanks so much for showing this off, this whole series is so useful for finding fun ways to keep me enjoying the league.
Been doing it the whole league. Have long since reached 100 and still blast maps with it. Can't stop, won't stop. It's too much fun. Especially if you got some explode somewhere.
It can be really really fun but it’s important to note that the doedre’s devoted r fkn cancer. If u have a zehp build you will suffer. Ran a phys flicker build for this strat and it sucked, they would machine gun me from 2 miles away, after I switched to a svalinn setup, I had a lot more fun.
time saving tip: if you get asked to open up 100s or 1000s of stacked decks in the future, plug in a controller and switch PoE over to controller mode, then go to the menagerie. it's X A X A or something to spam open them since one button opens other drops, just let your loot filter sort the trash out. friend did this and opened 500 decks in a few minutes.
I did small adjustment to this strat as I invested more points intro rerolling ritual. It granted quite few more raw divs/bases but most importantly when nemesis ritual spawns you basically getting 5 invitation as after each reroll you are guaranteed new invitation. In 50 maps I usually get 2 nemeless altars which means 10 divs in invitations which is a nice buff to div/h.
This is the first time I saw a strat that I was doing before someone made a video about it lol. Fun and chill strat. I found a +1 power charge ring from ritual too which was a big boost to my currency.
this has been honestly my main source of div per hour the whole league until i started doing t17 giant rogues but i enjoy this strat just because stacked decks are also fun to open every once in a while
I farmed up 5000 Stacked decks in 50-60 maps. Granted I ran a bunch of different maps, Lighthouse, Silo, Glacier, Beach. I had the highest drops on Silo, Glacier and Beach, where my average was ~80 decks per map. I ran a few Toxic Sewer to test, but I only got an average of 20-30 Decks per run so that was very underwhelming.
I just tried this strat, but I opened the rituals as I went instead of caring about which one had the most Doedre packs. Still got 3058 stacked decks in 50 maps
I farmed my Nimis doing this strat early on in the league. It was fun and I actually leveled off of it, but boy does it DEMOLISH the engine. Lightning Strike + Speed and/or Spell Echo Shrines + Delirium + Beyond + Ritual + Doedre Mobs on 8 Mod Jungle Valley... It's how I learned I actually have to be playing on Vulkan so I wouldn't crash every map. The amount of flicker/unloading + reloading pop in is insane. Personally, I wouldn't do it again because of all the running around and clicking to pick up each little stacked deck + backtracking for Rituals (on top of the rendering going in the gutter), but it is a respectable money maker early on. I did 80 maps to get a little over 5K stacked decks, you'll get anywhere from 1200 - 1400 every 20 maps depending on a lot of factors. The 8 - 12 packs each scarab spawns, their stacked deck drop chance, if you get any currency dupe eldritch altars, how many mob packs spawn inside of the ritual circles, and the order you pick to do your rituals in to maximize the stacked decks. It matters, as the last ritual can easily drop you over 15 decks that way. I suppose Glacier would be better as it is a much smaller and relatively faster map, but I was banking on the whole no boss modifiers on my eldritch altars. It's unfortunate that both Jungle Valley and Glacier have a garbage T17 drop though.
oh man i did the same thing, i had to switch to flicker strike from lightning strike though because the proximity shields kept fucking crashing my game. fun strat though so i can't complain otherwise
Holy shit this farm is awesome, extremely fun and flashy, and with really solid profit with INSANE consistency, I am profiting so efficiently with my frost blades build.
I did a slightly inferior version of this strat and it might be one of the most enjoyable ways to juice in this game. Thank you for sharing this delightful way to play.
Great content once again! I have been trying to Scry Residence and have done 40 maps (non 8mod) with (carto/40%magic/40%influ/Traitors/2000wisp) and have gotten 17 Sanctuary's with zero Seers......
Try it with 4 domination scarabs and the node that gives magic pack to each shrine. And put domination in map device. You will get seer very very fast in like 10-15 maps maximum.
Anecdotal : Ritual in my experience is required. Without ritual and running 5 cloister scarabs, I don't drop enough stacked decks for it to be worth it. It IS a nice filler scarab though for some fun when you get 500+ decks to gamble. Also stacked decks are essentially liquid currency that shouldn't dip below 1.4/1.5 c per regardless of how many are on the market.
This has been my first money making strat for this league and it was an amazing kickstart. Super easy to liquidate, not too hard to run and actually quite fun. Only complaint was the proximity shields being very annoying for my proj-based character
I'm really stuck with this one. My build is by no means as strong so I am taking a lot longer to clear maps (First league, only just started PoE) but I'm still killing everything and doing as well as I can to make sure that I use the rituals in the correct order if I can help it. I've only run 6 maps so far but the most I have seen was 27. I have an identical atlas tree and hit green/blue altars instead of red (Slower clear time so less risk from negatives), maps average between 80%-100% quant too. I'm barely making enough profit to keep the strat going. some maps I lose currency, really need some help on this one as it looks like such fun.
yea this has been my strat for the league. you can mix it up with all kinds of mechanics and from research, nameless seer drops more due clear out the doedre packs in every map
I open stacked decks every league as my gamble of choice. Usually 5-25k a league. I would say I’m confident that you will probably break even if you open. 100 to 1 div is a good ratio to buy at and would be “profitable” I think the trick is to stop opening after you get a decent hit. If you are already negative and down a lot you might as well keep going though.
the more powerful your loot filter, the less profitable stacked decks become. If you're willing to pick up and turn in most of the 3-10c cards (and a lot of gamblers aren't) then they're profitable even at 80-90:1 div
I'm so glad you didn't post this vid until now as this was my main money maker for most of the league. Scarabs were cheap and stack decks were over priced to such an extent that it was closer to 20div/hr. Literally out competing T17 strats with a super low investment strat
I love this strat! It was profitable even when cloisters were 8c! and now they're like 3-4c on the auction house :) Edit, this works a lot better for characters that don't use projectiles!
this is how i afforded my mageblood and was my money strat the entire league. probably sold 20-30k stacked decks. The worst part is picking everything up. took me 2-3 times longer to pick up the decks than to clear the map with flicker. my fav part of the strat is there's no bad luck. you make a continuous profit every single map. you don't run into 'oh i did 10 maps and got nothing, wasted 30 divs, hopefully the next ten make up for it'

I literally farmed a mageblood in less than a week because of this strat (slight changes from atlas tree) 4-5 weeks into the league. Repetitive but somehow quite fun!
Yeah, my favorite strats are always the ones where I can just blast through maps, no thoughts. Now that I think about it, its basically just the equivalent of people playing slots or pachinko, except that the odds are actually in my favor (in game).
I'm new to arpgs (I broke into the genre on the release of poe2) and decided to break into poe1 after I got tired of playing poe2 and diablo4. And this is the most fun strategy I've seen so far. The only difference is that I play with blue altars, which adds its own challenge, but it's even more interesting this way

First league playing this game. Somehow i got a skewed idea of the prices of stuff i guess since I was basically playing SSF while learning the game. Doing shit like wasting 3 gold oils, and 3 silveres just to fail a map a couple times in a row "eh, its only a couple divs wasted". But i seem to be doing something right if I'm making stupid amounts of chaos to be stupid with and waste while I really figure shit out (though I really should be investing in gear it seems).
Use a bunch of those scarabs while leveling a new build. Not recommended. There is a proximity bubble guy, a machine gun lady and there is a chance they proc a unkillable book on death that rains forbidden rite like chaos projs on you.
Hello! I tried run t17 with x2wisp 1 bloodline 1 lineage 1 horde on sanctum with dominion. Being all monsters magic and map native, they drop scarabs, currency, valdos and reliq keys at a higher rate while also having at least 1 seer every 10 maps! Would it work to try to dupe these crazy drops with altars then? I will try to, maybe you can try too!
Whats the lowest pack size map type I could run with this strategy, like 30? Not sure if I want to spend the investment on 8-mod maps, but I really want to try this strategy.
i self farmed my char to level 100 with this the exp you get is nice and maps are like super packed if you ding like one dely orb on them and full rituals to get more king invintations if you hit the alter was like 1/20 on me prty nice addion money ^^
Get the sound from the gnomed youtube video (or join empys discord, I can drop it in the poe channel if you @nroks there) and put it in your documents path of exile folder, add a rule to filterblade under general currency, move stacked decks there and customize it the way you want, change the sound to custom, click manage and upload the sound file (make sure the name is the same as the one in the folder), save & done!
you do always profit if you open them or get the equal amount currency of stacked decks. I did around 260 div in 2 days with it + stuff from ritual and scarabs.

I've been doing the strat most of the league but just vaal cycloning the mobs into the rituals instead, wild getting like 24 decks to pop out of the ritual sometimes

best map for this is city square. u can boss rush for more basic currency duplication altars(and other goodies) and city square drops sanctuary map.

I did this with 12 maps twice when I noticed I reached 60 scarabs, first time I got 769, second time I got 768.
7:06 was just perfection.
Farmed my mageblood doing that, exsanguinate miner doesn't care about proxi shields and makes it 100x more enjoyable than other builds

Get the sound from the gnomed youtube video (or join empys discord, I can drop it in the poe channel if you @nroks there) and put it in your documents path of exile folder, add a rule to filterblade under general currency, move stacked decks there and customize it the way you want, change the sound to custom, click manage and upload the sound file (make sure the name is the same as the one in the folder), save & done!

I did this couple weeks ago, got around 6k stacked decks. Last 100 cards and got house of mirrors big stonky.

the big question is with this strat do you sell the stacked decks or do you open them? :)
you do always profit if you open them or get the equal amount currency of stacked decks. I did around 260 div in 2 days with it + stuff from ritual and scarabs.

you would in theory have gotten 1c per click over MILLIONS OF STACKED DECKS. but that was when there were far less cards

Bases in ritual has been pretty sick this league. Probably lost out on alot not checking them
I've been doing the strat most of the league but just vaal cycloning the mobs into the rituals instead, wild getting like 24 decks to pop out of the ritual sometimes
Ritual mobs are based on what naturally spawned inside the ritual, not on what you end up killing in it.
It's a common misconception

I think there's a bug currently, don't know if it's only in city square but you can drag the bosses to a ritual

This is the best strat that is working like people saying in div/hr other strats like stronboxes sucks for me :) And i started skipping ritual and its better for me div/hr i think :) Ritual take to much time and i get all time shity rewards Insteat of ritual i added more scarab dropping and for me its like 15div hr i think map take like 1.30-2 min averaging 40decks i think and now 80decks=1div

You skipped the map crafting option. I'm probably stupid and it's something obvious like ritual but i've seen people run shrines option with this farm
