I think the 2nd and 3rd look were def that Tara Lynn style! I haven’t done any looks with the palette yet, but ended up swatching it on my deeper skin tone on my teeny channel lol I do feel like I will have to build the shades up as some of them are pretty light on my skin tone. But, I find that to be the case with a lot of the ND palettes. I really love the colors in this palette, because I love wearing bright colors (which you know lol) I agree with you with liking the midi size and also that the shimmers are toned down. I cannot express how much I appreciate you keeping it real. You don't edit out your trial and errors. In my opinion, this palette was just too much work. With that being said, I did like look number two on you the best.
I rec'd the ZENDO palette on Mother's Day I preordered it. I love it. So far I did a teal/cool brown look and a warm orange pink brown look OMG they looks came out fantastic and so easy to blend. I do agree the color combination can challenge you. But its' so good! I have no regrets.
I'm a retired beauty therapist. Two years training in UK and then often refresher courses. We only touched on makeup... Mainly dealt with body and skin. In my opinion it is was the exfoliating the night before and then applying other product next day, caused the reaction. Anyways, back to the video, so looking forward to this.
I would love to see a ND version of a neutral mattes palette. Most of her mattes are just too warm for me. I have Biba and love the quality but it is honestly too warm and the cool gray shades are a weird undertone. So many orange, red, pink shades in her palettes.
@@star-pixie Glam palette is not all cool toned. It has neutral & a cpl warm tones in it. Idk why everyone calls it cool tones when the descriptions of the colors say otherwise

A friend of mine who is a MUA says to tap the cream to powder formulas in place and then lightly blend the edges. Stops it from being patchy. I haven’t tried it yet but it works for her!

I feel like she missed a slam dunk by not releasing a Midi Retro palette instead for summer. Could have been so pretty and unique and still neutral enough to appeal to the masses. The Zendo feels been there, done that and I have the same feelings about it that I did with Circo Loco. It just seems like a disjointed, jumbled group of shades that are too bright (for me) and don’t really go together. I’m also biased as I hate orange and don’t wear blues.

I think sometimes it’s better to go in with LESS shades. That’s why I think you had trouble, trying to combine too many colors. It’s really often better in general to just use like a max of 3-4
That's why I think I like it- I love coral and seafoam- I have had fun using 2 or 3 from this palette- I don't have the skills to use more than that anyways 🤣
Top 3 shades, 1 look Yama & that army green in the corner, 1 look Top green shade with the baby blue & gold, 1 look I would totally buy this off her hands if she would let me!!😍
For the price of this palette it should work well with how ever many shades you want to use. If you want to use more than 2 shades, For $65.00 you should be able to use the amount of shades you would usually use from an eyeshadow palette. If you can't use more than 2-3 shades, than you'd be better off saving your money & buying a drug store palette.

U can’t expect to use a “metal” blue (not true blue) w a warm reddish brown, but there are tons of looks u can do both cool & warm

As usual, such a thorough and honest review!! I love ND and I’m waiting for this palette to arrive. I can’t recall whose video I watched but she shared the same observations that it is less vibrant compared to her other palettes. I think this is supposed to be an easy day palette to create every day looks. Sooo happy you were able to spend some time with your son!!! ❤️❤️
I think the theme or inspiration of the Zendo palette is not to have super bright punchy colors instead I think it has a tranquil zen watercolor theme that fits the inspiration.
Good Morning Tara🌞! Boy, this ND palette looks like it’s a pain in the a$$ to create beautiful looks. 🤣🤣🤣 I am with you on those cream to powder shadows. I found myself using most of those cream to powder shadows as liners in her Metropolis palette. After seeing you compare Metropolis with this one. Wow! I definitely don’t need this one! I’ve also got her Gold, Love and Sunrise palettes. Each seems to have many similarities in each that I am not seeing anything new or amazing to pick up another. ND has released 3 palettes from her Trichrome, Circo Loco and now this one that I won’t likely add to my collection. I am so glad you do the comparisons of other swatches! Clearly it helps to give us all perspective on how many palettes have so many similar shades, that we all have sufficient products in our collections to create beautiful looks. I still have my heart set on the urban decay wild west palette. In think there is too many dupes within her own palette. The comparisons were amazing. I do love the peach look on you, it brings out the blue in your eyes!😍

Tara, we appreciate you so much! You put so much time, thought and effort into your videos. I thought the same about those green/blues until I watched Natasha on her channel create looks with them. The eye look she did would look stunning on you. Haven’t picked up the palette yet, but might during a sale. 😘😘
I’ve seen others use it & I totally agree they go together. I just think those colors aren’t what she enjoys & looks “off” on her skin tone especially since she uses tanner.
I compared Yama with the greener golds in my Gold palette (because it’s closes in hue to those) and Yama has a thinner texture and less crystal glitter impact. The greener golds in my Gold palette are greener have WAY more duochrome dimension, have a thicker RICHER texture and more crystally glittery impact. Just NOT comparable to Yama or any other of the shimmers in this midi Zendo. I also compared Tranquil with Botanic in Natasha’s Cranberry 5 Pan palette as they’re practically the same shade and again Tranquil is the poor twin that got starved in the womb and came out tiny and frail. It’s a thin less crystally shimmer compared to Botanic’s more thick luscious texture and more crystally brightness. The color is practically the same but the quality isn’t. Really dissatisfied with this. The shimmers in this Zendo palette are just ordinary everyday thin shimmers that seem flat and dull and that you can get from other brands. This is in NO WAY Natasha’s standout crystally glittery rich textured shimmers that Natasha made her name on and that I go to her for. I was very disappointed in this palette. Also, Circo Loco doesn’t have those standout formulas and that’s her big palette where I expect them to shine! So I’m realizing I’m just not getting what I come to Natasha for anymore. Which is very deflating. Everybody acts like she’s still making this quality anymore and she’s not unfortunately. 😢
I haven’t been a fan of ND’s two most recent palettes and I’m a colour lover. Regardless, your tutorials are always great. You are so beautiful and sweet.

She actually place the shade so any quad, diagonal and vertical/ horizontal line is a look. All her palette are made that way and its the reason I buy her palette because I don't have to think to create a look. Please try it and tell me what you think!

From a first look I like this palette, but when I watch carefully with more mind and less heart, I think it’s wiser to let it go for me. I’m so glad I’m not the only one who does not care for her cream to powder formula, I always have a hard time. Also I’m a person who loves color and I still ended up returning the circle local Palette. I can’t put my finger on it but I didn’t care for many of the looks I created and I was having a hard time with it. I don’t plan on picking this one up thank you for the review. I also see an Morgan Turner sharing her stories not liking the looks she created with it and having a hard time with it as well.

I feel like the mini Zendo isn’t a representation of the bigger one. They have a different color story to me. The new one is like a Ying (peach) & Yang (Blue) It has pretty colors but hard to make looks with. It needs a another to bridge the two sides together. It’s pretty though 🥰
I actually love this pallet and it looks great with my Bronze pallet too. I’ve found you have to use eyeshadow primer and not concealer for or the cream to powder shades too work really well. But, my eyes seem to get along well with her formulas and I’m a very fair redhead.💜💜💜
Thank you for investing in this palette. I really love the coral look you created! I do like 8 of the shades in the palette and if I decide to buy this palette, I will mix and match shades with the sunrise and love palettes and « create » a palette of my favorite shades among those three (the glam is pretty perfect as is; I didn’t buy the bronze palette because it’s too warm for me). I so wish ND would create a midi size of her triochrome palette. Thanks again.

I agree with you. It's kinda two separate palettes trying to work together! Of course, I pre ordered it but I'm starting to regret it. I understand it's based on Zen but I'm not feeling the "balance" or the "flow" with it. And, I can't see any relationship with the mini palette 🤷♀️! If you struggled to make it work, I'm going to be up the creek without a stupid paddle! Serves me right for being too impatient. 🥴🥴💗💗💗💗
Today was not a good day for you Tara for color coordination. Your baby boy has you so excited that you’re unable to do some great eye looks. I got mine and I’ve been able to work with most of the shades . The red Vigor is a little too intimidating.
I did not get this because for my ND metropolis, I had a hard time matching colors for a cohesive look and the dark greens / blues are too much for me. But I got the MINI ZENDO and I love it! Formula and color pay off is great on the MINI!
I told myself to wait and see your review first but since I have all the midi size palettes, I bought it when Sephora offered it. I wish I would have waited but hopefully I like most of the shades! I have to say the color story wasn’t speaking to me but I do love that dark green shade.

You look stunning 🤩. I’m passing on this palette. I have a lot of her palettes I can dupe looks with between the teals in Gold, and warms in Sunrise and Bronze. The Zendo pallet looks underwhelming and I also passed on the mini Zendo as well for the same reason. Plus for the Sephora sale I coughed up some dough for the Circo Loco and Biba pallets. I’m on hold for the Retro Palette if that ever comes out.
I have 4 Natasha Denona minis and I really do love them, use them all the time. But I still haven't bit the bullet and purchased a larger one of her palettes. I'm still waiting for one that I just feel like I HAVE to have, ya know? I hope she makes a larger version of the mini Retro, that might be the one for me...
The more I see this palette the less inclined I am to get it... it was always a only on sale palette because the cream to powder formula sets my eyes on fire for some reason. It hasn't released in Aus yet but unless I see it heavily discounted somewhere I think I might actually pass on it. I have all the other midi and mini palettes plus the blue/purple 28 pan already so that combined with the extra C2P shades in this one I think I might save my money. I picked it up and I haven't played yet. I got it personally bc I have a very large collection of nudes, neutrals, mauves, roses I own no pops of color hardly and I wanted this to pair with some others! I own quite a bit of Natasha but not any of her more bold palettes (minus love) so this makes sense for me to pair I think. I def get what u mean tho , I couldn't get much out of just this I don't think

I think ND palettes are so much hard work and the fall out from the shimmer shades 😱 I thought I’d try bh cosmetics eyeshadow palettes as I’d seen some good review. I really thought she was going to bring out a Zendo palette that was an expansion of the mini but this palette doesn’t resemble the mini at all so I was really disappointed. It just looks like a paint palette a whole lot of colours thrown together without much thought. For example the Glam palette really was a bigger version of the mini Glam with more variety of the same tones of shades. Thank you Tara for a wonderful review and all the hard work and I hope your very sore looking rash soon gets better. It must have been lovely to have some quality time with your son, family is so precious🥰💜

Hi Tara those steroids screams are good to help with things like that. My daughters have really bad eczema I wouldn't recommend using the cream out of the tube....you would want to mix it with something else like aveeno or Vaseline . Otherwise it could burn your skin regardless if you only use it for 2 weeks I've had experienced that with my daughter.
Hi Tara. I don’t like the cream to powder formula either. It never sets on me and I end up with shadow all over my face as the day goes on. The color bleeds onto my skin and just keeps moving. I do like ND shadows but that formula tends to knock the palettes down a notch for me.
I probably won’t be picking this up. I just don’t think anything can top her Glam Palette for my skin tone and preference. Oh and I LOVE the CT super nudes palette. I don’t understand how it didn’t get more buzz.
I did not pick up the palette. I have most of the shades,except the mint green shade. I went ahead and purchased a mint green single from my local store. I was in there purchasing a nail polish, so I grabbed the mint green single. I like supporting local small businesses.

I like colorful looks more than you do, but the Circo Loco, although good in formulation, I understand, was too clownish for me. This is a big fat NO for me. When Morgan Turner, held Zendo extended up to Metropolis, the lackluster shimmers in the Zendo were obvious. I consoled myself with picking up the Sydney Grace Bundle Mel Thompson curated, based on the Retro mini. I remember you not liking the Retro but I am much paler than you and really liked it. What I really agree with you about is the Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk OG quad. For some reason, it dosen’t show up on me either. I love her darker quads and the large pillow talk as well. The OG Pillow Talk lipstick is too light for my very pale lips. I love the medium and intense Pillow Talk lipsticks, though.
Personally I passed on this palette. I could see 5 shades on the right side of the palette I would get absolutely no use out of. For me, this palette in no way reminds me of the mini version. I am so disappointed because I was looking forward to seeing a larger version of the mini. This it not it. It’s okay because I just saved $65 and will use that money toward a couple of items with the new Pat McGrath release this month. Thank you for your review TaraLynn 🤗❤️

I feel like she missed a slam dunk by not releasing a Midi Retro palette instead for summer. Could have been so pretty and unique and still neutral enough to appeal to the masses. The Zendo feels been there, done that and I have the same feelings about it that I did with Circo Loco. It just seems like a disjointed, jumbled group of shades that are too bright (for me) and don’t really go together. I’m also biased as I hate orange and don’t wear blues.

I think sometimes it’s better to go in with LESS shades. That’s why I think you had trouble, trying to combine too many colors. It’s really often better in general to just use like a max of 3-4
That's why I think I like it- I love coral and seafoam- I have had fun using 2 or 3 from this palette- I don't have the skills to use more than that anyways 🤣

For the price of this palette it should work well with how ever many shades you want to use. If you want to use more than 2 shades, For $65.00 you should be able to use the amount of shades you would usually use from an eyeshadow palette. If you can't use more than 2-3 shades, than you'd be better off saving your money & buying a drug store palette.
@@NaNaTT549 if it was $130 palette I would agree, but not at $65 price point. I think this palette was designed to be a one stop shop kind of palette- different shades & tones in 1 palette. U can’t expect to use a “metal” blue (not true blue) w a warm reddish brown, but there are tons of looks u can do both cool & warm
Also check natasha denona stories- she has lots of tutorials. Fine for us to have different opinions- this was worth it for me, I am enjoying it!

I can’t recall whose video I watched but she shared the same observations that it is less vibrant compared to her other palettes. I think this is supposed to be an easy day palette to create every day looks. Sooo happy you were able to spend some time with your son!!! ❤️❤️

I think the theme or inspiration of the Zendo palette is not to have super bright punchy colors instead I think it has a tranquil zen watercolor theme that fits the inspiration.
Good Morning Tara🌞! Boy, this ND palette looks like it’s a pain in the a$$ to create beautiful looks. 🤣🤣🤣 I am with you on those cream to powder shadows. I found myself using most of those cream to powder shadows as liners in her Metropolis palette. After seeing you compare Metropolis with this one. Wow! I definitely don’t need this one! I’ve also got her Gold, Love and Sunrise palettes. Each seems to have many similarities in each that I am not seeing anything new or amazing to pick up another. ND has released 3 palettes from her Trichrome, Circo Loco and now this one that I won’t likely add to my collection. I am so glad you do the comparisons of other swatches! Clearly it helps to give us all perspective on how many palettes have so many similar shades, that we all have sufficient products in our collections to create beautiful looks. I still have my heart set on the urban decay wild west palette. In think there is too many dupes within her own palette. The comparisons were amazing. I do love the peach look on you, it brings out the blue in your eyes!😍

I’d like to see the Yama shade compared to shades in the gold palette! I think Yama is the star of this palette
I compared Yama with the greener golds in my Gold palette (because it’s closes in hue to those) and Yama has a thinner texture and less crystal glitter impact. The greener golds in my Gold palette are greener have WAY more duochrome dimension, have a thicker RICHER texture and more crystally glittery impact. Just NOT comparable to Yama or any other of the shimmers in this midi Zendo. I also compared Tranquil with Botanic in Natasha’s Cranberry 5 Pan palette as they’re practically the same shade and again Tranquil is the poor twin that got starved in the womb and came out tiny and frail. It’s a thin less crystally shimmer compared to Botanic’s more thick luscious texture and more crystally brightness. The color is practically the same but the quality isn’t. Really dissatisfied with this. The shimmers in this Zendo palette are just ordinary everyday thin shimmers that seem flat and dull and that you can get from other brands. This is in NO WAY Natasha’s standout crystally glittery rich textured shimmers that Natasha made her name on and that I go to her for. I was very disappointed in this palette. Also, Circo Loco doesn’t have those standout formulas and that’s her big palette where I expect them to shine! So I’m realizing I’m just not getting what I come to Natasha for anymore. Which is very deflating. Everybody acts like she’s still making this quality anymore and she’s not unfortunately. 😢
I haven’t been a fan of ND’s two most recent palettes and I’m a colour lover. Regardless, your tutorials are always great. You are so beautiful and sweet.

Your the 3rd review I've seen that we're having problems with the color scheme in this pallet. I have her glam pallet witch I'm in love with when I use it up I will buy it again they need to make it a permanent pallet. I can't live my life without it.🤣💯

She actually place the shade so any quad, diagonal and vertical/ horizontal line is a look. All her palette are made that way and its the reason I buy her palette because I don't have to think to create a look. Please try it and tell me what you think!

From a first look I like this palette, but when I watch carefully with more mind and less heart, I think it’s wiser to let it go for me. I’m so glad I’m not the only one who does not care for her cream to powder formula, I always have a hard time. Also I’m a person who loves color and I still ended up returning the circle local Palette. I can’t put my finger on it but I didn’t care for many of the looks I created and I was having a hard time with it. I don’t plan on picking this one up thank you for the review. I also see an Morgan Turner sharing her stories not liking the looks she created with it and having a hard time with it as well.

I feel like the mini Zendo isn’t a representation of the bigger one. They have a different color story to me.
The new one is like a Ying (peach) & Yang (Blue)
It has pretty colors but hard to make looks with. It needs a another to bridge the two sides together. It’s pretty though 🥰
I actually love this pallet and it looks great with my Bronze pallet too. I’ve found you have to use eyeshadow primer and not concealer for or the cream to powder shades too work really well. But, my eyes seem to get along well with her formulas and I’m a very fair redhead.💜💜💜
Thank you for investing in this palette. I really love the coral look you created! I do like 8 of the shades in the palette and if I decide to buy this palette, I will mix and match shades with the sunrise and love palettes and « create » a palette of my favorite shades among those three (the glam is pretty perfect as is; I didn’t buy the bronze palette because it’s too warm for me). I so wish ND would create a midi size of her triochrome palette. Thanks again.

Today was not a good day for you Tara for color coordination. Your baby boy has you so excited that you’re unable to do some great eye looks. I got mine and I’ve been able to work with most of the shades . The red Vigor is a little too intimidating.
I did not get this because for my ND metropolis, I had a hard time matching colors for a cohesive look and the dark greens / blues are too much for me. But I got the MINI ZENDO and I love it! Formula and color pay off is great on the MINI!
I told myself to wait and see your review first but since I have all the midi size palettes, I bought it when Sephora offered it. I wish I would have waited but hopefully I like most of the shades! I have to say the color story wasn’t speaking to me but I do love that dark green shade.

And you have quite normal skin i believe! I never use exfoliators, peelings, resurfacing stuff etc, but i have a very sensitive skin. In the shower only clinique 7 days scrub against the wrinkles, that is all i dare to do. You look stunning 🤩. I’m passing on this palette. I have a lot of her palettes I can dupe looks with between the teals in Gold, and warms in Sunrise and Bronze. The Zendo pallet looks underwhelming and I also passed on the mini Zendo as well for the same reason. Plus for the Sephora sale I coughed up some dough for the Circo Loco and Biba pallets. I’m on hold for the Retro Palette if that ever comes out.
I have 4 Natasha Denona minis and I really do love them, use them all the time. But I still haven't bit the bullet and purchased a larger one of her palettes. I'm still waiting for one that I just feel like I HAVE to have, ya know? I hope she makes a larger version of the mini Retro, that might be the one for me...
The more I see this palette the less inclined I am to get it... it was always a only on sale palette because the cream to powder formula sets my eyes on fire for some reason. It hasn't released in Aus yet but unless I see it heavily discounted somewhere I think I might actually pass on it. I have all the other midi and mini palettes plus the blue/purple 28 pan already so that combined with the extra C2P shades in this one I think I might save my money. I picked it up and I haven't played yet. I got it personally bc I have a very large collection of nudes, neutrals, mauves, roses I own no pops of color hardly and I wanted this to pair with some others! I own quite a bit of Natasha but not any of her more bold palettes (minus love) so this makes sense for me to pair I think. I def get what u mean tho , I couldn't get much out of just this I don't think

I think ND palettes are so much hard work and the fall out from the shimmer shades 😱 I thought I’d try bh cosmetics eyeshadow palettes as I’d seen some good review. Well, they know how to do eyeshadows!!! There shimmers are blinding and zero fallout! I will save my money! Ps love watching your videos 💕
I really thought she was going to bring out a Zendo palette that was an expansion of the mini but this palette doesn’t resemble the mini at all so I was really disappointed. It just looks like a paint palette a whole lot of colours thrown together without much thought. For example the Glam palette really was a bigger version of the mini Glam with more variety of the same tones of shades. Thank you Tara for a wonderful review and all the hard work and I hope your very sore looking rash soon gets better. It must have been lovely to have some quality time with your son, family is so precious🥰💜

Hi Tara those steroids screams are good to help with things like that. My daughters have really bad eczema I wouldn't recommend using the cream out of the tube....you would want to mix it with something else like aveeno or Vaseline . Otherwise it could burn your skin regardless if you only use it for 2 weeks I've had experienced that with my daughter.
Hi Tara. I don’t like the cream to powder formula either. It never sets on me and I end up with shadow all over my face as the day goes on. The color bleeds onto my skin and just keeps moving. I do like ND shadows but that formula tends to knock the palettes down a notch for me.
I probably won’t be picking this up. I just don’t think anything can top her Glam Palette for my skin tone and preference. Oh and I LOVE the CT super nudes palette. I don’t understand how it didn’t get more buzz.
I did not pick up the palette. I have most of the shades,except the mint green shade. I went ahead and purchased a mint green single from my local store. I was in there purchasing a nail polish, so I grabbed the mint green single. I like supporting local small businesses.

I like colorful looks more than you do, but the Circo Loco, although good in formulation, I understand, was too clownish for me.
This is a big fat NO for me. When Morgan Turner, held Zendo extended up to Metropolis, the lackluster shimmers in the Zendo were obvious.
I consoled myself with picking up the Sydney Grace Bundle Mel Thompson curated, based on the Retro mini.
I remember you not liking the Retro but I am much paler than you and really liked it.
What I really agree with you about is the Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk OG quad. For some reason, it dosen’t show up on me either. I love her darker quads and the large pillow talk as well. The OG Pillow Talk lipstick is too light for my very pale lips. I love the medium and intense Pillow Talk lipsticks, though.

Personally I passed on this palette. I could see 5 shades on the right side of the palette I would get absolutely no use out of. For me, this palette in no way reminds me of the mini version. I am so disappointed because I was looking forward to seeing a larger version of the mini. This it not it.
It’s okay because I just saved $65 and will use that money toward a couple of items with the new Pat McGrath release this month.
