ya know I use your words all the time.. last weekend I was washing my bathtub and I was getting tired and my back was hurting and I said to myself this doesnt have to be perfect, its just needs to be better and now i do that all the time.. so thank you for that.. loved your video but then I love them all , thanks for the motivation.. peace ..JAY
Don't be down on yourself for still getting emotional about your Mother's passing. Take comfort from being able to have such wonderful memories of her & how much you very obviously love her (& I say that in the present tense because she still holds a huge place in your heart & will as long as you live). My Dad passed 18yr ago & it still feels like yesterday, I just get a little better at dealing with it but I still find myself asking him stuff - that never gets old 😊 xx
You're so right, she will always be in my heart! I love her so much. We were best friends. People say time heals all wounds, but I'm not entirely sure that's true. It sort of gets easier, but the pain is always there. I'm so sorry about your dad. Do you talk out loud to him? Maybe I should with my mom. It might help me more! 😊💕
@@kingsathome Time helps you find your own ways of dealing with things. Some say that is healing, some say that is coping. It differs person to person. Yes, I do talk to him out loud. The best way to describe it is as though he's in the next room, not visible but you sense a presence. It's a bit like having a one-way conversation (a bit like you do with kids at times). You don't have to have a word spoken, you just sense what would be said. Some times it's just good to get stuff out of your head & vocalise it. It's almost a kind of therapy. If you've ever been to a therapist, they don't tend to say much, just the odd thing to help you along the way to work things out for yourself. Consider talking out loud to your Mum as a cheaper form of therapy, because I bet you know what she would say to you, without her being physically stood next to you! A phrase that has helped me a lot to deal with the loss of people I love over the years is that "You are never truly gone until you are forgotten!" ❤️ Please remember to be kind to yourself. Depression can be a vicious thing if you let it. I know, I have it too & it's really kicking me right now. Hold your head up & enjoy the little things in life like a hug with your kids - you've got this! The raw edges will dull over time but you will still love her 😊 xx
Thank you for your kind words! I will definitely talk to my mom out loud, probably alone tho, if I start talking to my mom with my husband next to me. He would think I've lost it! 🤣🤣 But seriously I'll try anything to help! Depression is so terrible and can trap you in a rut of sadness. I've been to some dark places. I don't wish to be there again. But with my mom's birthday tomorrow, it's hard to be happy and positive. I want to celebrate the life she had. But it's not easy to forget the pain and sadness she went through before she passed. It breaks my heart every day. 💕
Wow. This hit home for me. New subbie here, and I am pregnant and have to homeschool a son who has aspergers characteristics, and I feel you on so many levels. Tfs and I hope you and your family have a great rest of your week.❤
Wow you definitely have a really busy life, but don't feel bad feeling like it's busy because it is. You're strong and you can do it! You're not alone!! Don't worry about perfect, just do your best each day! You sound like a really good mom! When are you due? 😊🧡
@@ishlamylia You're so welcome! Oh that's awesome! I would love to have another baby. But sadly I can't have kids anymore. Congratulations on your baby! I bet you're so happy & can't wait to meet him/her! I always loved being pregnant, even tho I was terribly sick the whole 9 months. Being pregnant is wonderful! When else can you eat anything you want without worrying about weight gain!! 😂💕
Jen you definitely inspire me. I have been thru the same issues you have. Never happy with who is am and self esteem. But I’ve gotten better. You are a great mama and person. You are strong ❤
Thank you so much! I'm glad I can inspire you!! Self esteem is so hard to have. Especially when it stems from your childhood. I try hard to love myself, but I just can't. I hope one day I can! 😊💕
This video is so relatable to me. My dad passed way a year and a half ago and I’ve been in a rut. Depression is horrible and my house hasn’t had proper deep cleaning like I use to since my dad. Good luck and praying for you
I'm so sorry to hear that. It is definitely hard to climb out of the dark hole it puts you in. You feel like you can't do anything at all. I have to push myself so hard to get up, otherwise I'll sit down all day doing nothing. I hope you're doing better each day. 😊🧡
