And we are so blessed that your door opened and you waltzed your way into our lives. Love you, bless you. I got so excited when you started singing!! JACQUELINE Ireland in Pennsylvania
My favorite on this album besides the Last Waltz is Dance with Me.You sing it so romantically and it has a fantastic beat and melody. But truly, I like every song you sing ! 😍
I am a teenager and I love listening to Mr. Engelbert Humperdinck’s songs. The song “The Last Waltz” was the first song I have heard from his songs. I immediately fell in love with his songs and I even made a playlist of my favorite songs from him which I listen to everyday.
Wow- That's fantastic! So good that as a young person, you are keeping an open mind with regards to music- there are some wonderful songs from back in the day & Engelbert's music is timeless...
We are the sameee!!! I'm also a teenager and 'Love Me With All Of Your Heart' is the first song i've heard from his songs. Andddd also, i have a playlist of his songs and i listen to the songs everyday!
Its hard to believe that you were turned away early in your career, you were and still are very talented! And for conversing with your fans nobody does it better! ❤️❤️

My grandson Braylon was in the 5th grade and the school Jackson Heights Elementary had a music/dance instructor come in. The dance was The Last Waltz. I loved „everybody knows“. I heard it the first time on a holiday in Paris and always asked myself why you sang it to a man... Best wishes from Bavaria
I'll always remember those Engebert tunes from my time as a child at weddings over 50 years ago and still listen to them. You must know of the fantastic impact you had on generations of people and how we adore you
I watched the Bermuda video all the time. I love Ann Murray, she is a Canadian singer. Matter of fact I watched the Bermuda special last week. 🕺🏽🍷🕺🏽🎤🎼❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🎼

Your Voice is like No Other!!!I Needless to say I must hear your voice your songs every day! When at home, I listen to your CD albums! When I’m out and about, I listen to you on the radio! How could anyone ever turn you away..wow wrong call.. u had an amazing voice then and it’s still that way..we luv u and hope to c u in concert in NJ.,.Lucky from Hawaii❤️❤️❤️❤️
I'm glad someone opened the door. Many of your songs are timeless! Your 2nd album was important, proved you had true talent and showed you were here to stay. We have benefited tremendouly! I taught ballroom dancing for 2 years, waltzing is still a beautiful, graceful dance. Not very many performers come close to your rich, powerful voice, or the way you deliver a song. To top it all off, you were blessed with carisma, charm, a commanding presence and good looks! Stay well and God Bless.
Happy Flashback Friday Engelbert. We are so lucky that you did not give up and continued to knock on many doors. I melt every time I see your beautiful face on the cover of this album, and needless to say, your magical voice and these great songs, always enrapture us. Thank goodness for Les Reed and Barry Mason who gave you so many wonderful songs that not only continued to propel you up the ladder of success but also, along with your golden voice, enriched our lives. I got to view your Bermuda Special featuring Ann Murray, and even though you were so uncomfortable baking in the sun, your voice and your singing did not miss a beat. You are a true professional. I love your stories and your memory is phenomenal. Until the next Flashback, stay well and God bless. With love, Henia, Toronto.
Both songs are so beautiful. I can listen to the Last Waltz everyday ! You sing Everybody Knows with so much emotion, you can feel the lyrics of the song. You have the most wonderful voice !
My all time favorite artist, a legend in his own right. I love all your music. Brings back so many good memories from the 60s, 70s, 80s some of which brings tears to my eyes💜💜💜
Dear Engelbert, Thanks for visiting us your fans with your chats of happenings during your life. Your memories are surely keeping you so young at heart and maybe it's rubbing off on your fans. Love hearing you voice, both singing and reminiscing years of wonderful memories. Keep "Flashback Fridays" coming. ❤️🙏🌷
It would be absolutely great if you bought some of the old songs back that haven't been heard for year's. Song's like "Maybe this time"...."You never said goodbye" So many more from those year's . I'm lucky I have them on vinyl, but would gladly purchase them again on CD. And I'm sure your fans that were unlucky to get them the first time, would love them now. Love your weekly chats. Listening to you now, can't believe where the year's have gone. Stay safe..stay healthy Love from London UK 🇬🇧
Those early songs are available on The complete Decca Studio Albums Set. In fact, Engelbert is holding one of the CD's from the set in this video. I believe there are11 CD's in the set. They are all the original songs, and are a wonderful compilation of Engelbert's fabulous, early music!!!
@@barbarabellettiere4136 Thank you Barbara, I know of the Decca years Album. The songs I am referring to are not on these discs. @@wendyw5463 You're very welcome. The song "Maybe This Time" is on the CD "Don't You Love Me Anymore". Of course, this CD is out of print, but it is available on Ebay, and other internet stores. I happen to love that particular song, too. It is absolutely beautiful, and he sings it with immense emotion and tenderness. I really love his live rendition of it on his TH-cam Las Vegas Concert at MGM from 1982. If you haven't seen this concert, I highly recommend you watch it. It is fabulous, and Engelbert's voice is gorgeous in this concert. He looks absolutely magnificent, too. Enjoy!!!!!
Thank you Mr. Humperdinck for what you do. You have a great voice and feel an inner calm hearing your music. I wish for you the very best and will continue to pray for all of us.
It's hard to believe a person could listen to Engelbert singing a song, and not want to sign him immediately. ''We''ll call you'' ? Are you freaken kidding ? This was a voice that only comes along once in a life time.
OMG ... how good it is to hear the stories of the beginning of your career ... how much emotion involved ... your door opened and you entered our hearts never to leave ... I'm so happy to hear you sing, your voice it's already ok🙌🙌🙌From Brazil with love ❤️❤️❤️
Hello Engelbert, I just love your memories and stories. Their great and so are you as well. I so look forward to your muse day Tuesday's and Flashback Friday's. I enjoy your music always and wish I saw your shows in person but didn't get that chance but I have your albums and enjoy them so much. God Bless ❤
My favorite song on this album is "Two Different Worlds". It has a wonderful melody, and the lyrics are fabulous. Of course, your voice is SUPERB in this song. It's funny you talked about "Everybody Knows". I've always loved that song, but I never realized the oddity of those lyrics until I recently (within the last year) read a blog from many years ago, from a young man who almost had a coronary when he realized you were singing to a man. Now he was REALLY in love with you!!!!! To tell you the truth, I had not listened to that song for many, many years, and I thought this young man (boy, really) must be mistaken about the lyrics. When I listened to it again, much to my surprise, he was CORRECT. I can't believe I was totally oblivious to the fact that you sang " he and him" instead of "she and her". I laughed hysterically when I listened to those words, and realized I was either not really paying attention to the lyrics, or so naive as to not know THAT was "a thing" at my young age. In any event, I love that song, and I'm glad you managed to increase your fan base by a LOT with that particular song!!!! Good for you Engelbert!!! I loved this week's Flashback Friday. Take care of yourself, and May God Bless You Always!!!!! 😘❤😘
Love that album and still have the vinyl. Thank you for explaining “Everybody Knows”. Great song and I always wondered why you were given lyrics that said “wished I hadn’t seen HIM walk away”...now I know. 😊 God Bless.
Bicyclettes de Belsize is my most favorite song ever. Engelbert, you have so many good songs 🎵. Last Waltz, is another beautiful song too. Love you 😍 💗,, God bless.

Hi Enge. I do love to hear you reminisce about old times and highlights from your career. You have so many fascinating stories to share. My former husband was a dance instructor for a cruise line and he ended each dance session with Engelbert Humperdinck singing The Last Waltz. I hope you are having a wonderful time in England and enjoying your time with loved ones. Luv you and God bless.
Enge, I love to hear your memories of all these great moments in your life. What an amazing adventure your life has been! Thank you for taking the time to share yourself with us this way. You put your heart and emotions in each and it really shows that you love music your songs and your fans. Thank you Englebert for entertaining me all these years
So a beautiful Video i love this Song A Place in the Sun so beautiful all Songs are beautiful thanks so much for sharing a wonderful Friday and a wonderful Weekend all and may God bless you all ❤
There’s this song from the album called Two Different Worlds it’s also pretty good I’d recommend listening to it. Also another song called If It Comes To That, that song is pretty catchy.
you are very right, without good songs you don't get very far even if you have a good voice. In Spain, a singer with a very good voice, his name nino bravo, a very powerful voice, he hardly had good songs, he had no good managers like you
Hello Engelberth, That's a wonderful song like all of your songs. Many people are interesting song writers. Was very good work. Love You. From Colombia.
Hi Engelbert, so difficult to choose a special song because I love everything you do but A Place in The Sun is lovely. I danced to The Last Waltz as a last dance to 2 of my daughters weddings, so they have extra special meaning to me. Do you know that The Beatles were rejected by Decca at their first audition? I'll bet all those people who turned you down in the beginning want to kick themselves. Love from Cape Town, South Africa.
What's your favorite song on 'The Last Waltz'?

I have heard you say you receive cards, letters and gifts from fans but I can’t figure out how fans send them to you. Anyway, as always, it was great to see your beautiful smile and hear your voice. I hope to see you again at one of your shows soon. Sending you all the love your heart can hold!
Just yours,
Vicki

You put your heart and emotions in each and it really shows that you love music your songs and your fans. Thank you Englebert for entertaining me all these years

I love this song and welcome to my world
So glad you've been recognised and have rewarded with an MBE , well done
So a beautiful Video i love this Song A Place in the Sun so beautiful all Songs are beautiful thanks so much for sharing a wonderful Friday and a wonderful Weekend all and may God bless you all ❤
I enjoy listening to your stories. It would be great if you could say what it was like working with Dame Shirley Bassey. Thanks.
Just the idea of being in Bermuda with Anne Murry is enough to keep a man going for decades :)
I love all your songs!!! Your a great singer.😍🥰😚❤😉☺😘
There’s this song from the album called Two Different Worlds it’s also pretty good I’d recommend listening to it. Also another song called If It Comes To That, that song is pretty catchy.
Hi Enge, Absolutely "The last waltz" 🎶🎶💙🙏 Kind regards from Finland 🇫🇮
you are very right, without good songs you don't get very far even if you have a good voice.
I love all your records 😊love you Enge 🎤🎶🎵♥️🇳🇱
Love that shirt on ya! 😊 Thanks for doing Flashback Friday.
I was 9 years old and I was already listening to you, at home were your records
Hi Engelbert, so difficult to choose a special song because I love everything you do but A Place in The Sun is lovely. I danced to The Last Waltz as a last dance to 2 of my daughters weddings, so they have extra special meaning to me. Do you know that The Beatles were rejected by Decca at their first audition? I'll bet all those people who turned you down in the beginning want to kick themselves. Love from Cape Town, South Africa.
