- “Vergeten Volk” (“Forgotten People”) is both a lament and a ‘call to action’, written from the perspective of the forgotten creatures of myth and folklore. “Sing our tale, go and look for us. We will never be lost.” Although forgotten by mankind over time those creatures are still there, though not always visible in the realms of man. The song portrays the sorrow of losing one’s sense of belonging and becoming detached from the world, and invites the listener to retrieve the imagination and sense of wonder we all had as children, but may have lost along the way.
The story is told in Dutch, Irish and English - folklore transcends all language barriers.

Most of it is translated in the song or the lyrics are visible in the clip. Which parts do you still struggle with?
