A lot of women keep men around for validation and emotional support it's often why a lot of guys don't like being put in the friend zone because we will get all the responsibilities and have to do all the things that a boyfriend would have to do and be expected to do things then a boyfriend would have to do but we get none of the benefits and then we're called a jerk or a misogynist for pointing out that we don't want it that way

There's a myriad of potential reasons, most of them incredibly shallow too. She may have found his lack of assurance as being less masculine. Somewhere at the end of the date she got the "ick." But the most likely answer is dating ADHD, she got home started scrolling the apps & saw a guy that was taller, richer, better looking, or some other way "better" which doesn't speak highly of her ability to maintain a relationship if she could ever actually get into one with such a pathetically short attention span.
For the screw, where's the communication beforehand? A "Hey, I'm throwing this screw out." should have 3 responses: "Sure", "I'll take that", or "No I still need that for X".
2 of those take care of the screw, the 3rd is up to him, and maybe you'll find out why it's important (or not).
But hey, at least you also pointed out that it might've been for a task he was going to complete for her lol
Regarding the holding hands and ghosting, I can almost guarantee I know what happened. She was seeing multiple men and the one she wanted to commit to her finally agreed to commit.

I'm not sure i would have the confidence to do first anything, and i think i would definitely apreciate a relationship in which the woman is more leading and setting the pace than the guy(/me) just cause i don't trust myself with that. But, i also have a lot of work to do on myself before i'm ready to even thino about a relationship, so, that may change in the future.
For the sperm donor thing, there should be a limit to prevent risk of inbredding and such, and anything beyond that is arbitrary and based in emotions, rather than "what is the best way to do things, scientifically?"

This may not be a justified fear, but how frequently do women decide to "slash and burn" a man's life if they feel they were screwed during, or with, a breakup? This probably isn't the case here, but in other circumstances, is it reasonable that a man might say, "i'm not sure i wanna be with this woman, be she is gonna throw the biggest fit she can if i break up with her, and i'm not sure my life is stable enough to survive that right now."(?)
Where I live in Oz if you physically impregnate someone you automatically assume parental obligations. You cannot sign them away by contract. This was because of many kinds of complications due to “off book” donor s getting weird after a child is born

Super late to the party (after nigjt shift work), but there are times, when both people can be extremely exicted about getting married, and they still shouldn't get married, either because they are incompatible as life partners, or because the enviornment dpes not support it. Such as when things are really bad, and money is tight throigh no one's fault, or when a peraon is disabled, and only gets life sustaining insurance while not married and so long as several other boxes are checked, cause what kind of country takes care of it's disabled population, right? I say go for the kiss on the first date but don't be creepy about it. Go for it but go slow enough that she can't pull away if she wants. Just be yourself, if your naturally assertive then this your nature if not then don't. The main thing is to just get out of your head and be yourself. The women I'm generally attractive like assertive personality types. The women ghosted the dude that she inatiated the kiss for one of two reasons. 1.) She was turned off by the lack of his assertiveness or 2.) She found a better option "guy". Also I see that it's mostly older women pushing the relationship steps.. Woman that are early 30's, desperate to hit relationship milestones and get the guy to propose so they can start a family.
