I'm terrible at remembering song lyrics; I can only manage a few lines, even from my favorite songs. But I have memories from Seaton - from 40 years ago. Creating good memories is a very important thing, isn't it?
I had so much fun there, and my own boys got so much out of it, that after our troop went to H M Moses for a weekend trip, I had the idea to try to form a composite troop, that would visit three or four different scout camps each summer.
Look for a Return to Yawgoog video from me, that will include an interview with PC Logan. Unfortunately, I was not able to interview Rabbi Saul Goodman.

I consider this my most valuable video -- I want no credit for that -- rather, I had the opportunity to capture and share wonderful memories, and the video has been largely well received. It is the people on camera that make it special, I merely watched and strung it together.

Nice. We have had three trips, with a Troop now run by a friend I was in Troop 10, Cos Cob, with. This was my guys' first Scouting adventure, and now they are nearly done with Eagle.

@@henryjt2377 There is a reason Troops from as far away as Maryland come to Yawgoog, and the Duty to God patch you can earn by attending religious services, is particularly beautiful this year.

I have authored three books containing merit badge requirements. These books will assist the scout and merit badge counselor to achieve the desired merit badge. The books can be obtained on amazon or at the local library. They are WEATHER by Jack Fleming, GEOLOGY by Jack Fleming, and BEACHES (for the Oceanography badge) by Jack Fleming.

You can see me in the Swim Test, Trop level camp fire (singing with my friend Marc, who I met in Scouting back in the day), and the Waterfront Challenge.
We were with Troop 11, Greenwich; I was providing Two Deep for my friend's Troop, as well as getting my boys started in Scouting. We are now with Troop 608, Hamden.

Apparently having FOURTEEN new scouts that briged over this mounth and scouts from last year who havent camped is a good enough reason to stay local.... Troop 284 from '87 to '93 here. Made my first visit to Yawgoog and MB in over 30 years last weekend, fell in love with Yawgoog all over again. Cheers!

This is gonna be my third year at yawgoog. I leave in five days and hearing the trumpet gets me so happy
