Kurt Caz is a popular South African TH-camr often seen in dangerous places around the world. Kurt tends to switch between telling people he meets that he's from South Africa and Germany. Why is this? Kurt explains in this short clip from the Not Bothered Podcast by Mulvey.
Kurt's father is German, whereas his mother is South African. Kurt was born and raised in South Africa, and moved later to Germany to live with his father.
He has dual citizenship. 2 Passports. Ask him when he travels, which passport he uses. I'm confident, it is his German passport. It is not easy to travel on a South African passport. You need to apply for a lot of visas. A German passport is actually an EU passport. It opens a World of travel.
So ist es !!!
who gives a shit
The entire world outside Europe@@ejd7881
kind of does remind me of Lukas Podolski
Podolski was born and raised in Poland though.
@@PuerRidcullyHe is from Slesia
Podolski isn't even a German lol
@@tayhlordalton9596 of course. He is a Guy from slesia
Many of us in South Africa have German ancestry
Eres Sudafricano?
@@matiasarce8514German pls
If you speak Afrikaans and German you can really easy learn Dutch. You already know like 90%
I’d argue you probably know a lot more than 90% if you speak English, Afrikaans, and German
He doesn't feel German with a German father that's sad .. and travelling the world with the German passport. C''mon boy
he didn't grow up in Germany and to be honest white south africans have way more balls than germans that's why he does what he does i would not want to feel german either
@@ejd7881 Sounds like you did some personal research.
@@guenthermichaels5303 if you ever meet germans and Afrikaners you will see a big difference in behavior, personality, and temperament
@@ejd7881 Kurt Caz is not an Afrikaner. He is not a Boer. I am 68 years old. I have been to South Africa and Zimbabwe during Apartheid. I know the difference . I am German. GERMANY a country of 83 million. Germans are different depending on their region, We even have different dialects. So you can't just stereotype Germans. No different than NYC or Oklahoma or Texas or New England. Our balls come in many sizes.
@@guenthermichaels5303 wake up buddy Germany is the rag-doll of the West.
talk to people outside your basement they will tell you germans are Wimpy and Weak and feminized i saw it all the time when i was station there good luck
In German his accent is odd. Definitely not German. I was born in Chicago, but my dad is from Austria. At home we speak German (Austrian German) and his accent in German is a foreign one.
Austrian german sounds completely different...
@@TommyEss Woher kennen Sie die Unterschiede zwischen den germanischen Ländern?
@@davidlp6510 ich bin deutscher
He might speak Afrikaans
@@hansm.3247 In one of his videos he says he can understand Afrikaans but he cannot speak it.
How do you call it .. Ausbildung.. but I am not German
Do you have a German passport? And a South African passport?
he could have both
You know you can have 10 passports there’s no limit to how many citizenships you can have not just 2 😂😂😂😂
he needs a haitcut, its growing too long already
I want to know how kurt thinks of the Tate brothers
I'm 🇩🇪🇷🇴
Haha Kurt I thought you were South American this whole time
Why does he have such a problem with beeing german💀
He doesn’t seem to have a problem with it - he just doesn’t feel particularly German. Perhaps his extensive travels have made him identify more as a global citizen than a citizen of any specific country.
who the F wants to be german they smell bad
I am German and the bureaucracy is hell. Why would you identify with a country anyway? As it's some archivment to get born at some random place. At least he is honest
@@elektronischerliebhaber well he does with south Africa and sometimes Germany i always say the city i'm from not the country
@@elektronischerliebhaber If you feel that way you haven't lived in another country long-term. German bureaucracy is good compared to most countries I've lived in for extended periods. They usually have a fine print and it's often harder to find information even about basic stuff.
He's lying. He's only south african
Not bothered
Man hört sofort seinen deutschen Akzent.
@@garmr214
But you got a German accent, lol
Lol no, it’s South African accent
@@wyler9290 haha bro I’m from Cape Town
i've been in Germany since early 2019, he doesn't even sound 1% German. His accent sounds african to me.
As a german I can tell that this is not a German accent at all lol
No he doesn’t have a German accent lol are you deaf?

OH man... you can delete this comment as at screams that you don't understand geography whatsoever. There are tons of w h i t e South Africans. You are going to faint when you learn what Coloured South Africans are 😂
@@its-all-goodhuh are u retarded or something? 😂
@@its-all-goodin sourh africa even if you have brown skin tone you’re not considered “black”. people are just too small minded
@@731-l3o My wife and her family are from Durban and they consider themselves Colored South Africans. I think the government era they were born during determined what they see themselves as. My mother-in-law told me the government once did a "pencil test" where they placed a pencil in a persons hair and asked them to lean over. If the pencil fell out, they were considered Coloured. If it didn't fall, then you were black. So, some people in Coloured as well as Indian families could have been Coloured and others as Black based on hair texture and not skin color.
What a mess... we cant just be people.
It's like saying there are no black Europeans?
