This is the new Olantern classic 2 pro rechargeable lantern and as well a battery source to charge USB devices. This lantern has steeples dimming up to 300 lumens in a beautiful Warm white to cool white. Great for out on the patio, porch or deck as well as to take camping. If the power goes out you will have plenty of light as well as be able to charge you cell phone. I love the warm light to cool light feature. The metal gives it a vintage feel. I like there is 2 different ways you can hang it. To the looks of it this is an excellent lantern. Thanks for the review Charlie.

Got any pics or video of the shadow when the light is hanging? In a tent, for example? I want to know if the base makes too big of a shadow to be useful if hung directly over a picnic table, for example.

11 amp hours? Thats a big battery for a tiny lantern

Looking at the light rather than where the is thrown is not beneficial.
We do not look at the flashlight beam to see lumen capability, or walking down trail.
Down the stairway helped a bit.
A hanging overhead as one might when camping would have helped.
I use my Javelot Pro as a lamp when camping.
It is multi purpose light without snowflake phone charger.
