Ring Raiders is actually a toy cartoon. The toys were very original. They were small Micro Machine-esque jets, attached to a ring via a clear stem with a ball socket on both ends. The idea being that by wearing one on each finger, you could play with an entire fighter squadron on each hand.
Was just talking to my son about your part 1 & 2 reactions. I was born in 77 and was TOTALLY an 80's kid and remember a lot of these! Really takes me back! I was wondering where Muppet Babies and Mask were. Loved Thundercats and Silverhawks! Got the Mirage for Christmas one year.
Fav.....Mighty Mouse, MIGHTY ORBOTS, Moon Dreamers (only because of that song), Muppet Babies, Archie, Pole Position, & GHOST BUSTERS. When i here eights action i think of Arnold.
A lot of the cartoons shown in these 80s intro videos were from the 70s not the 80s. Captain Caveman, Fang Face, Blue Falcon and Dynomutt, Battle of the Planets was from the mid to late seventies while The Funky Phantom is from 72 for example.

Now you got a sample of Mighty Orbots. I own the complete series. It was a high detailed anime Saturday morning series. I mean for its time it was movie level animated.
Yo Jay and Ronin are y’all gonna be playing the mortal kombat story mode and uploading it to TH-cam or twitch? Really interested in seeing y’all reactions while playing
The jerks in charge of the Gobots franchise actually sued the group who made the Mighty Robots cartoon, they claimed mighty robots was a direct copy/infringement on the Gobots... clearly mighty orbots got screwed big time by ridiculous legal BS at the time,Gobots are hella simple in concept and design compared to Mighty Orbots that are very anime like/vibrant and slick.
Not sure why popeye and son was cut off, new mighty mouse and heckell and jeckell had only a promo and police academy was skipped? Strange. As for notes-- 1. Maxies world is a spin-off of Beverly hills teens. You saw the intro in part 1 I think. 2. Mork and mindy had the full cast from the live show doing voices! 3. 'Where is velma?" The "daphne is leader" trilogy fred was working as a mystery writer and vilma a big shot at nasa! Both show up in some episodes on their day off but daphne is leader! They were not in every episode. Also, ghosts can be fake, real or both at once! 4. Mighty orbots is great. Animation was incredible at the time. 5. New benny and cecil is a follow up to the old 60s cartoon. It was a live puppet show before then. Yes, john K of ren and stimpy made the follow up. 6. Pitfall, q-bert and pole position and of course pac-man are all based on video games. 7. Madballs was indeed based on a toyline! 8. Macron 1 first aired with real music from mtv added to the episodes of the english dub. Most had to be removed from the vhs releases due to copywrites!
Mighty Orbots got screwed so bad. Before it could really get off the ground, they got sued by Tonka, who insisted the name would cause brand confusion with the tag line of Go-Bots "Mighty Robots, Mighty Vehicles." It was bullshit, but it pretty much killed the show after only a single 13 episode season, and before any toys could get made.
I always wondered why they got rid of Fred and Velma in those 80's cartoons? Maybe the artist were lazy or under paid? Or the producers were cheap, only decide to use less character's on the budget?

Bible stories are underrated.
