Hi again Wesley. Guthrie is indeed a mind-blowing guitarist, but any soloist is only ever as good as the composition they have to be playing over the top of. This composition by Steven Wilson is the overriding genius here. You really need to do it the justice of listening to the full composition and I highly recommend the live version from the Home Invasion Concert recorded at the Royal Albert Hall. Alex Hutchins is the guitarist in that performance and I believe matches the absolute brilliance of the originally composed melody of Guthrie over the genius of the composition from SW. If you havent listened to or given a reaction to that full piece (which you appeared to refer to here as it is 13 minutes) then I suggest you do :-) You wont be dissappointed 🙂

There's no ? "Guthrie Govan" is a Excellent Guitarist but the Ancestral Live Version from "Steven Wilson" L.A. Concert with "Dave Kilminster" is Excellent also and it's posted here on TH-cam... "Dave Kilminster" is also the lead Guitarist "Roger Waters" when Roger is Touring...

I’ve been meaning to check out the live performances. A lot of the experience so far has been the animation
