I have never seen ANY woman run, jump, hop, skip and do cartwheels in heels but Patti! And not little heels, stilettos!!!! That’s a bad woman… and still doing it at 77… amazing! The ones she ran with in the 60’s and so forth have either passed on, or retired except for Gladys and they STILL pack a house!

I am always fair and give everything a listen - if it's one of her better performances I will say so, if it's bad I will say so. Regards the quality of her voice - it was never a beautiful sounding voice. Just loud and sustained with a wide range of high notes.
