At least we didn’t lose, games like this will remind us we need to stay focused. Feel sorry for Kelleher as he’s been outstanding for us and some fans will turn on him for his error
Yes they are already doing so, forget all the great games he has performed in. Yes he made a bad mistake, but hey he is only human, I love him, I'm not a fickle fan. Onwards and upwards
Agreed Nindy, no game is easy and we got a deserved point and showed our ability to fight back. Kelleher will come back stronger and he has done us proud this season. Its a team game and we win it and lose it together as one. YNWA
@jamierennie817 Thanks Jamie, naming and shaming players is nor a good look. You can say they didn't have a good game, but nasty toxic comments are not needed. In my opinion
Hi Si, just as you mentioned ST James Park is a tough place to play. We didn’t play as well as we should, but we still managed to get a point away, this hard fought point might be proved to be a decisive factor of our title charge. Carry on RED, we are doing great💪💪👍👍
Thank you Marilyn! Definitely good to get some positive perspective because I feel some fans were way over the top on criticism when we are actually really well positioned ^^ YNWA
Good one, Si. With you on supporting the team. This is exactly when the team needs us. They are mentally and physically exhausted. Let’s give them all we can for this next push! YNWA
It's win , lose or draw and i'll take this draw for what it is , St James park is not a easy place to win at and as it is the way we've played this season so far gives me great confidence going forward. I absoluyely love my club and love Si and this community , through good times and bad i appreciate you all and look forward to getting behind our club and enjoying this first season of magical Slot ball. Wishing you all the absolute very best and hope you all have a blessed day.YNWA❤
@@christineduffy3113 Absolute pleasure to know you Christine , was nice to hear you get a wee birthday shoutout from Si , it's great having you as part of this community. Hope you enjoyed your birthday , wishing you the absolute very best.YNWA❤
Absolutely bro, we are on great form and we are leading the league on merit. We can't take for granted the ability and efforts of the opposition but we still managed to fight all the way and gain a valuable point coming from behind. I love this club and I can tell you do too so lets enjoy what is going to be a magical season! YNWA
I’m only realising outside of Endo and Macca Curtis Jones is our 3rd oldest midfielder his growning his really taking control with in the league I’m liking this new role. Same I would’ve loved Endo in this game especially with Joelinton and Tonali being physical monsters Endo would’ve been that warrior especially after Ryan left the pitch but I’m assuming Slot looked at possession and decide for a controller like Jones and Macca rather than the destroyer Endo
Yeh thats true! Jones is the 3rd oldest haha. Endo would have been that cool head to change the tempo but alas, we only lost after individual errors. YNWA
I'm glad I don't read all the rubbish about individual player's performances. It just doesn't help them in the slightest. Come on Liverpool 💪 we've got this 😜
Yes Steve and you are better for it! We should be supporting the players because when they do well, we are happy! It really is bizarre how people think demoralizing or targeting our own players is in any way, actually aligned to what we all want... which is for Liverpool to win! YNWA
Funny the roller coaster that was. I’m happy with the draw overall…it was the fair result given we could have easily lost that game. Only feels tough because we had the win and a few miscues cost a goal. Happens. But better that causing a draw than it causing a loss. So it is what it is, just need the W at Goodison
Thanks Sir for a very well balanced review and comments from the Newcastle match. I completely agree with your appraisal after a great start to the season it was a blip! Energy levels and injuries after a bloody tough time in recent matches have started to show. I love Endo, and was so happy when we signed him, he is so much better than people think. But he needs more match time. He would have been good to have used him at times yesterday. Keep up the great work chap. 👏😎👍 I'll join you, as I cant see a fella without his Burger 😉🍔
The draw is not so bad considering the busy and crazy schedule that makes every players so tired. I wish 遠藤さん was chosen to play from the beginning. It is no brainer! He is rested and plenty capable. The ref was so shockingly bad(even biased) !
frustrating yes but only because we were so close to winning. i agree with slot's comments that if you would have told us we'd have come away with a point after that first half we had, i wouldve gladly taken it. all in all not too bad. newcastle away was always going to be tough. thanks for the video Si, we move forward. YNWA
Hi Si, thanks for the birthday wishes yesterday. Thought this would be a tough game, a draw is better than a loss, but we have another tough game on Saturday, hopefully get a win. Take care Si.
Liverpool subreddit match threads and post match threads are the worst. It's always a witch hunt for a scapegoat. Even when we win they are looking for some of our players to run down if they dared make a mistake.
Indeed, some very vile and bitter people in there for sure! That being said, there are also amazing people too so you take the good with the bad and filter out the sad lol
@@liverpooljapanone thing i love your channel the most is you turned all negative points as a feedback. You back up and kind pure heart. Such a beautiful thing to see LFC supporters around. Appreciate your time and effort. LFC fan from WA
Lots of great analysis here! To be honest, I’m gutted we didn’t win bc I was hoping we would have had the ability to win when Newcastle were at their best. Real Madrid and City were injury stricken and played poorly, so I don’t know if those teams are the top line indicators we think they are. Everton, Fulham, and Tottenham all have physical yet tekky midfields that can punish us like Newcastle did, so we need to get energized and be focused for what is to come. Liverpool needs a way for us to rest players though, since the schedule actually gets more brutal than this. I think what worries me is that we look knackered and are losing energy/points while other sides like Arsenal and Chelsea seem to look completely invincible right now without even breaking a sweat. As for Kelleher, I agree that Trent was partially to blame despite the fact that they both messed up when neither should have. Darwin is certainly someone who I am against ruining the confidence of since he is a confidence player, but I wonder what a striker who can link up better AND press would look like in this team (Like Matheus Cunha). For example, when Darwin’s pressing isn’t as strong within a game, things tend to break down because he leaves our LW isolated a lot in possession and his retention/passing ability is generally below average. When we are struggling in a game, the out ball doesn’t stick to him and that offers a problem when we play physical teams with a pressing midfield and a backline that can cover. Our best moves were when Darwin was able to hold onto the ball, but I can probably count on one hand how many times he did that. Having chaos at the end of moves isn’t inherently a bad thing, but the problem is that the system is not suited to Darwin being the goal scorer. When these moves are ending with Mo or Cody/Diaz, Darwin gets moved to a possession role where his best qualities are more masked and his change generation abilities get overtaken by his inconsistency. I just wonder how Slot will be able to inject more energy into the side when we don’t get a break. There is a lot to learn from this match, and Slot’s ability to learn from this result in such a short timespan will be the determining factor for whether we are still on top by January.
He will definitely have a part to play as the midfielders get burnt out. He is being utilised to close out matches and get us through the cup rounds for now.
We lost an opportunity to win this game by far our worst half of the season..i am really sad that people on social media didn't lose a minute to start hating nunez or any other player...a lot of guys didn't play well yesterday but what Liverpool fans need to understand is that the YNWA isn't only for when we win is more important for when people don't play well when we go through tough moments...we need us a fanbase to be together to help the players to support them..the hole country don't want Liverpool to win the league..watch the happiness of the Newcastle players to get a draw like the won the league how much opposite fans on social media and tv try to disrespect our team.. LIVERPOOL fans let's support our team in the right way make anfield loud and game by game let's win the league and anything else that we can
Well said mate! Alot of people have an agenda against Nunez and will take any opportunity to lash out, on someone who is much loved internally and trusted by Slot to start many games! To target Nunez is to target Slot's tactical choices and there is no entitlement for us to wipe out Newcastle who are a strong team at home and we almost did it with a depleted squad. It is amazing how alot of fans just don't understand the simple concept of supporting the team. But proper Liverpool fans can see the reality of the situation which is we are top of the league and in amazing form and we have an amazing bunch of likeable and talented players! Hope Slot brings home the league! YNWA
Tonali, Guimaraes & Joelinton are a formidable midfield trio, plus Gordon & Isak were always going to be a handful with Bradley & Konate out. You still scored 3, trouble is you also leaked 3. No idea why your forwards are being blamed for that lol.
@@liverpooljapanNunez trusted by slot that's rubbish ,let me remind you of what slot was doing with Nunez when Jota was available, nunez was on the bench, the only reason Nunez is getting so much game time is because Jota and chiesa are injured. What other striker would get dropped so a left winger in luiz Diaz can play up front . You think if slot had haarland or issak for Newcastle he would drop them for luiz Diaz like he has done to Nunez ? As soon as Jota is back fit Nunez is back on the bench where he belongs. Nunez is simply not good enough 60 - 80 million pounds for what he produces ridiculous he one of the worse strikers I have ever seen for Liverpool. all the Nunez fan boys will talk about it he works hard like every other player doesn't work hard Salah works hard at his craft putting the ball in the not running around like donkey. I dread to think of a front line without Salah and having to rely on that donkey up front,Jota chiesa please come back. Slot is not klopp Nunez is not his signing and he would never sign that kind of crap. Hopefully he gets sold in the summer sick of him and his mollycoddling fans
To all LIVERPOOL LFC Supporters Matchday 15 It's a tough away match fixture in the early kick-off time against Everton at Goodison Park this coming Saturday. It's about time to unleash the player who is capable of playing that No.6 role & also to provide defensive cover for the backline. He is the one & only player who is very important & reliable in breaking the opponents play in the middle of the park. The one & only... Defensive Midfielder , Wataru Endō From SINGAPORE 🇸🇬 🇸🇬 🇸🇬 🇸🇬 🇸🇬 🇸🇬 🇸🇬 🇸🇬
Well said mate, he would definitely get us on the front foot and I hope he impresses in training and Slot gives him a shot to show him what he's got! He has never let us down and has a great attitude and ability to change the tempo of the match! YNWA
I agree with you totally on people jumping the gun on every player who has 1 or 2 bad games to be not good enough and to be sold, remember Gakpo and Diaz last season when they had a dry spell and everyone wanted them out and here they are firing on all cylinders. We need to have faith in the squad and judge the squad at the end of the season and not after one or 2 games.
You are completely right mate. So many fans are fickle and entitled and don't really understand what it means to support our players. We all want them to do well and win but ultimately we win as a team and lose as a team and should have trust in Slot make the right decisions! Well said. YNWA
Agree, look at other teams does, halaand goes missing in many games like the present times then scores a hat trick but none speaks bad about him even KDB he does the same. But people listen too much to the pundits, we all know they support their teams in bad and good times with exception of our Jim Careghar
Hi Si and LFIJ family Disappointed with the first half but the fight back in the second half showed our desire to win . We suck it up and regroup for the derby . We are still top of the league .YNWA ❤️
Agreed Susan, much respect! We are in it together to win it and through the storm, there is a golden sky. We have the mentality to fight back and the hunger and desire to get the results and some times, it is just not our day, but win together, draw and lose together, but under Arne Slot, hopefully lift trophies together! YNWA
Thought it would be tight. Thought 1 nil win. But 6 goals! It was a great game in many ways. We came back well even though we played poorly in the first half, looking a little out of shape. Newcastle were very aggressive and lively. Second half was way better for us! Momo was the steel we needed. 🎉 Soboz tightened us up. Nunez worked very hard but he fluffed some chances...? A score draw was the fair result 👏 🎉 YNWA..
A 6 goal thriller and one which we almost came out with all the points! Newcastle were never going to be easy and on their day, their midfield can challenge any midfield and they have certain players with a X factor. Overall a point gained and we move on to the derby! YNWA
Trent changed the momentum of the match but yet again he lost his man at back post ,trent was in front of him to and just let him push past him to score the equaliser
Indeed Seth, they have to go and go again every 3 days and having beaten City and Madrid, it must be tough to keep at it 100% but credit to Slot and the boys for giving it their all and getting something in a tough fixture and coming from behind!
I was frustrated because it was a poor defensive performance AND we couldn't counter their gegenpress, with poor linkup play. Then I was frustrated with Si relentless optimism. Buy then his optimism won me over 😂😂
Kelleher stepped up when needed that's all it matters 💯 . Si I think chiesa is a no 9 role player for slot and had the plan since start. What do U think of that ? And I think this is the last season of Nunez at LFC .
I think Chiesa plays facing forwards and will struggle with the physicality and back to go that a 9 needs sometimes. He is very direct from the wide channels and said himself that he didnt like playing in the middle when Juve needed him there. Also Slot keeps saying that Chiesa is the back up to Mo. YNWA
@@liverpooljapanand that is also to our detriment as he hasn’t played a match in a while. Surprised Slot seemed to take this match for granted with 2 major tactical blunders (right side of defense of course being the other one). Buy it happens and we move on.
I feel Slot doesn't yet appreciate how important a solid, versatile, experienced defensive midfielder is in top level English football if you want to compete on several fronts. You need one, cos it is a brutal season here & you cannot outplay everyone, sometimes you just have to tough it out. Hopefully he'll learn.
I love your message for support and positivity, Si. Respect! I couldn't help but think we could have done with Emperor Endo's Samurai gum-shield spirit in the 1st half. Also thought the ref gave us nothing and gave them everything. The reality is that every single LFC supporter would have bitten your hand off if told we'd be in this position, 14 games in, before the start of the season. Peace
Thank you Leo mate, definitely a time to be positive! Endo would have closed the game out and made the outlook different but ultimately Slot chose a different path. Every LFC supporter definitely should be appreciating the position we are in and we are the envy of world football! Much love bro. YNWA
Another subarashi analysis, Si! It's disappointing but at least it wasn't a loss & we're still at the top. Time for the players to rest & regroup. Oh, I remember an interview of Jose Mourinho. I think he was asked which away stadium was his least fave. He said it was the one from Newcastle because he never won there. So given that, a draw isn't too bad. Up the reds! YNWA 🚩 🚩
Thank you Kitty! Indeed, we have the point at a difficult fixture and didnt actually lose any ground because City and Arsenal dropped points there too. Newcastle have a proper good midfield and attackers that can hurt you so its a good result overall and we move on! YNWA
I see it as Liverpool one point won Newcastle two points lost. No time for people having a go at Kelleher. He had a fraction of a second to choose three options. catch, punch or leave. He thought it was going out. Who should have been marking the player that scored a fantastic goal.
Exactly, we came from behind, we still are getting an excellent points tally from the 11 run fixtures and Kelleher has done fantastic for us! It was Trent on the back post who should be covering. Overall, a point well earned and we move on!
Yeh, Newcastle definitely had a part to play in nullifying us but Slot as usual upped the lot at half time and we came back with Salah at the forefront! a well deserved point overall! YNWA
Mate. You're absolutely correct about how people will target Darwin. If these people support Liverpool, then they should try doing exactly that. I sometimes get lost in your eyes watching your videos. Ahem....anyway....awkward... There will be blips all season, its about how we respond. Let's go Saturday and get that momentum back. ❤
Much appreciated mate, always great to get compliments on the sparkly eyes haha xD ❤ Completely right in saying its about how we respond and we have shown that we always fight back when going a goal down! YNWA
Exactly and it is a team effort to keep the ball out of the goal and ultimately we fell short in the final minute but it was a great overall team performance and we can be proud of the boys. YNWA
The ref was terrible !!! Not fit slow .. and not consistent with his yellow cards... the refereeing should be highlighted everyweek ... PGMOL is terrible too!!! Also Ruud was a tap in merchant .. i remember him growing up .. but it doesn't matter how you put the ball in the net as long as you score!
Hi Si, we would all have been buzzing before the match and expecting a win considering our recent form and results. I cannot understand why Slot experimented with Quansah at rb. He and Gomez should have swapped places. That first half was painful and our players looked knackered. Usual rocket up the ar-se at half-time kick started our 2nd half and made it an end to end slugfest and very entertaining. Salah's goals were top drawer and the shot that hit the woodwork omg! If that had gone in his extension would have been signed overnight😂 After going 3-2 ahead I don't know why Slot didn't bring Endo on to close up shop. As for Kelleher, he's been playing out of his skin for us this season but Ali would not have done the same with that cross. You never know what is behind you. Rhats the difference between very good and elite. Considering how we started the match, a draw is positive but it feels like a loss. I fear for the Everton match now. Endo must play a role and lack of minutes will mean rustiness. Nunez must start for the dog in him. Trent must start for the attacking threat on the right wing. Gomez must play cb with VVD. I would settle for a draw right now. If we win it will be a bonus but we must not lose against our quiet neighbours who will be noisy and buzzing following their win against Wolves. Hoping 3 contract extensions get announced this month b4 Christmas!🤞🤞🤞
Agreed Dennis and the overall outlook from our position and form is super positive! We definitely started off poorly and never looked comfortable but Endo coming on would have given us security. Alisson is the best in the world for a reason and I think he comes back on merit when he is fit. A point is a point gained and if we turn over Everton, we are looking great again! I have faith in Nunez and Everton really are not a team that should be taking points off us. Lets hope the 3 sign extensions soon so the media can start crying haha. YNWA
Thanks Si, hope you enjoy your cake, I never have a cake on my birthday as I don't like sweet things. Anyway thanks for the birthday shout out. Agree Si, Kelleher made a mistake, but he's only human. Anyway onwards and upwards 😊
It was a strange match - I watched it with my Mom and wasn’t able to cast it onto the tv so we sat at the lunch table and I propped up the phone so we could see it. 🤣 We just looked disjointed. I don’t think there was a lack of effort. We were probably just running on fumes after last week. Before the match I thought a point would be a decent result but to come back and take the lead and concede the way we did is disappointing. Newcastle deserved the point. We were always gonna drop points somewhere. After last season let’s not get ahead of ourselves! I do like our chance though. YNWA *The ref was shambolic - 5 yellow cards to Liverpool players!
Agreed John, definitely not a match we hit our highest of highs on but its to be expected. Nice phone share with the mum lol. Onwards and upwards to the next match and lets get 3 points! The referees are definitely not our friends... YNWA
Watching the match with your mum , i absolutely love that John , we go again in the Liverpool derby and i honestly think we will get a hard fought away win. Much love to you and your mum , hope you's have a blessed day.YNWA❤
@ I don’t know what she thought of the match but she was happy I visited. Had to see the match and figured it might be a novelty for her. She did ask questions about what was going on in the match and why the goalkeepers were wearing different colors.😃*You have a blessed day too. YNWA
i think we can justify those who criticize Nunez in this case, Si. we can all agree that Gakpo should've aimed for the goal but that's the pattern all along (to aim for the far post) and Nunez, at his very least, should've made contact with the ball either. yet to mention abt that one other scrimmage where he also needed to at least made it on target. imo (after keep believing all this time), he's just not the right guy for us. his decision making's slow & poor most of the time when he has the ball causing unnecessary turnovers. link-up plays not great either as he doesn't know what to do when ball's in his feet. and when he gets his moments & actually creates chances he misses it. he's not at all modern Andy Carroll, or even worse David N'gog (lol), but his style suits la liga teams more or Chelsea if we narrow it down to only pl teams. i'd like to hear your response tho, cheers!
He definitely is not making the most of his chances but he is not the main scorer in the team, Salah is. All I know is Slot continues to select him and I will continue to support him whilst he represents Liverpool. He has game winning potential, but is definitely divisive. On the other hand, winning is a team effort and his contributions still add up to a winning effort. YNWA
Liverpool is not Salah or vice versa. We win and lose as a team not as individuals. Liverpool don't buy the super players but a team player. We score because of the transition of the team as well as defending. Joe Gomes and Quansha are just coming into the team and that takes time to jell. Newcastle and other teams they prefer losing games to other teams and not to Liverpool as they can afford to keep a star player not playing but only against Liverpool; Isak, Antonio - West Ham; Everton - Calvin, etc. Salah at Liverpool is the first option pass for every attack as per the formation design and not that he fights for the ball and score
Salah is definitely the player the system is designed for and Slot is keen on the team unity as we defend as one and transition as one. Ultimately the whole squad is needed for the season and its been a team effort to get top place in every ranking so far! Long may it continue. Gomez and Quansah are invaluable and Slot has trust in them. YNWA
Agreed, I really think Endo would have made a difference and changed the tempo of the game. Hopefully Slot starts Endo on the weekend and we can get the 3 points.
Hopefully he ends up being a good finisher when we need a key goal so he could do the Origi role for a while. I will have a look at the highlights now thanks
Poor Luke Chadwick catching strays 😭😂. Also, I don't mind the result. It's been a phenomenal run, match could have went either way too. I'll take the draw it's not the end of the world. Drawing to Newcastle at home isn't a bad result. Also I hate how one result that doesn't go our way makes our fans turn on players
Completely agree bro, over the 11 game nightmare stretch, we have done amazing and racked up an enviable points tally! Some fans are just super fickle and want a chance to moan and be toxic. We rise above it and move onwards ^^ YNWA
I didn't understand why Slot didn't bring Endo on in the last 15 mins to close out the game as he did in some of the tight earlier games. That right side needed defensive strengthening.
Agreed, it would have made alot of sense and help get us back on the front foot and gain tempo. Ultimately, I hope Endo starts vs Everton and we can give Gravenberch a bit of a rest as he is looking leggy. YNWA
Of course Nunez deserve all the criticism on his finishing, why the hell not? He don't deserve it because he is not the 1st choice, what kind of logic is that?? First of all let's make it clear, because of his poor finishing he end up becoming the 2nd choice striker, it's not the other way around Liverpool bought him after he scoring 30+ goals a season at Benfica and suddenly it's okay for nunez lacking number of goal??
Slot did not buy Nunez and we have the squad we have. Slot started with Jota as the main man and with Jota injured, Nunez has come in and our record with him in the team is fantastic. Salah is the main finisher and the team is set up to utilise him. As long as we win, I have no concerns at all about Nunez's goal contributions. He is being picked by Slot, his intangibles are resulting in a team win and thats all that counts. Replace him in the summer if Slot thinks he is not up to it, but I support him 100% whilst he wears the red of Liverpool and if Slot chooses him to play.
Can't agree with your take on Darwin bro. It's been 3 years and people are still too soft on him. Newcastle well and truly deserved the draw but Darwin kept making terrible passes when the game was tense that disgusted me the most. He doesn't have the pass in his bag, why he keeps doing it and risks the team of losing possession? Newcastle look dangerous everytime they got the ball and he made it easier for them. Yes, he's not the main goalscorer but who else do we need to turn to when Jota or Salah injured. Time is running out for Darwin, he needs to step up big time. Can't see Liverpool selling him because they're cheap on the replacement but you can't buy patience just by running hard every game
Newcastle played well and I don't think anyone played well except Salah really. Gotta give them credit, but with this weeks rest, Slot will get them up to go again. YNWA
I'm sorry Si but I think your boy Darwin is on borrowed time. You might get the odd flash of brilliance and I don't think anyone can doubt his commitment and work rate but his finishing doesn't seem to be improving and we are three seasons deep. No matter how brilliant Salah has been he can't do it all the time. It wouldn't be a bad idea if Arne is taking a closer look at Jayden Danns in training. Anyway keep up the good work
Thank you mate. He may very well be, but Slot is choosing to start him and our record with him in the team is absolutely impeccable. As long as Slot continues to pick him and we continue to win, then I am delighted overall. His intangible contributions are part of the team results. Salah is the main goal threat. As long as the team wins and he is in the team, I will support him 100%, the same as every player who steps on the pitch. For what its worth, Dann's is very far down the pecking order with Jota, Nunez, Luis Diaz, Salah, Chiesa, Gakpo, Szoboszlai probably all ahead of him for a CF striking starting place. He will get some chances in the cup games for sure. YNWA
Endo actually started as a CB and covered both full back roles before earning his spot in the midfield for Japan! He is more than capable there for sure!
We need to move on from Darwizzy. Most expensive player in our history and will never be better than Jota etc Origi is what you want from a second line striker. Clutch and can finish
It depends on whether the funds which you would get which I imagine would be under the £50 million mark, can get someone as potent, as his raw attributes stretch teams and gives you offensive capability on the transition and it makes space for the likes of Salah to sit in the pocket. It will be up to Slot what he wants to do, but Origi doesn't have the overall game Nunez does. Supersub is a specialist skill that only a few players have such as Origi, Solksjaer, Chicarito etc
As long as we get a result against the ev, and don’t drop any points until Jan then there’s nothing to worry about. Think the frustration comes from 1st half performance, the fight back, then the gutting 3rd goal to concede. It is what it is, we move
On a different TH-cam vid I typed in the chat that we as fans should not be stressing this much over one match. That’s why we have the cushion there in first place. And someone commented that I was shook??!?! I’m surprised that the idea was even considered, like can I not be there for my team through good and bad?
This is why this is the best community. You will get absolutely true Liverpool fans here who want the best for the team and though everyone has their own opinion, to be a Liverpool fan is to support the team through thick and thin and when we are winning and by such a distance, to keep calm and trust in Slot! We are top on merit ^^ YNWA
As LFC fans I think we have a legitimate reason for being doubtful as to our "favorites" status. We have NO experiential evidence that Slot can continue this form. Yes we have evidence as to our "world-class" players and team experience, but NOT Coaching experiential evidence. Trust is built through experience. Otherwise you are asking me to attribute ability and attributes to a coach that has not shown it yet. I believe he will but...yeah. It is obvious that we are in a place that CAN result as favorites but ... yeah. I think that's valid At This Moment.
Yup, that is true. But at the same time, Slot has won the league with Feyenoord and started and ended with consistency there and he also has players that have won everything in the squad and these Milner types in the dressing room are absolutely key for keeping the standards high. You can see how much Salah wants it too in terms of individual and team accolades so I believe that the infrastructure and assets we have in the team give Slot every opportunity to maintain the favourite mantra with composure. YNWA
Simple fact is without Mo’s goals and assists, we would be mid table at best Going into last nights game with our away form against their home form, I was expecting us to win We did well to comeback from going behind twice and then to take the lead was terrific. For their 3rd goal Trent didn’t do well either, losing his man on the back post. On the Darwin debate all I will say is Isak would get a bagful of goals playing for us
I think Salah is possible the best player in the world on current form. Isak plays well for Newcastle but keeps suffering injuries. I also think with these weeks rest, we should be fresh to go again ^^ Thanks Keith. YNWA
Piece of advice, straight to the point & call a spade, a spade.. Or lose viewers. More words equal less engagements. And yes.. At 2-3, Endo should have been brought in for Nunez, to close the game off
Not sure thats correct because the TH-cam algorithm AI picks up keywords from video spoken dialogue which puts it in front of the right audience. That is why tags no longer matter. I personally don't watch anything myself that is to the point with no analysis or nothing to add to what can be read in a minute on a news site. I prefer proper in depth view points and justification for point making. Endo as a closer would have been a good idea but Slot went a different direction but it was individual errors that cost us.
Agreed, was always going to be a hard game, but Everton I feel don't match up as well as our squad this season and we really should be looking to bounce back and take all the points.
@@liverpooljapantrue, but it's a local derby, Everton will chuck everything at you same as Newcastle did. City & Real were low intensity games in comparison cos they used to outplaying the opposition & when they not clicking it's an easy run out if you a similar technical level but not out of form. Everton will have no illusions about outplaying you, they gonna come at you like madmen it will not be pretty & it will be exhausting.
Definitely is behind Gravenberch in the pecking order but his usage as a closer of games has proven valuable to Slot for keeping the lead. Hopefully he gets the chance this weekend and makes the most of it!
Bro I wanna talk about Nunez, I personally gave up on him last season it's his third year in Prem and he's simply shown he's just not good enough to play for a massive club like us, he's not good on the ball who brings others into play like Bobby, he's not clinical and a proper physical No. 9 like Haaland and he's not a complete striker like Kane, Lewa or Son (if he's playing as a Striker btw the best finisher the league has ever seen), Darwin is just too emotional who just can't put the ball into net when there's time to think or the chance is just too simple all these narratives of Agent of Chaos, his passion and his aura are just excuses for him. A Striker for a team who is going for a title should be the one putting the ball into the net while being ice cold, calm collected that's it end of the debate, not like Darwin who misses simple tap ins but scores a insane banger once in a while, loved your analysis Bro, keep up the good work. YNWA
Thank you mate, much love! He is definitely not the perfect fit for the system but at the same time, his win rate in the team and our position at the top of both leagues deserves support because he is giving it his all and we should back the boys who are out there week in week out. Jota will come back in when fit and hopefully Nunez can find some form. YNWA
It's objectively true that Quansah doesn't have enough pace to be a top defender like VVD. It is also true that his ability on the ball and passing isn't good enough for how we want to play. I already knew this before this match and every time I see Quansah play, I am reminded of his deficiencies.
I think it's fair to say that Quansah has had more exposure, experience and big game contributions than VVD, Gomez and Konate at the age range. CB's need time to develop. Gabriel and Saliba being key examples as they were ridiculed early on in their career for mistakes.
Gravenberch needs a rest. Should be left out of champions league game. Front needs to be fixed to gakpo, Diaz and salah. No senior should play ucl. Xmas period focus on the league. Ali’s distribution is better so will replace kellerher. Fed up with Nunez. The sooner he goes the better. Danns is more effective and accurate than this guy.
I see chiesa is playing u21. Need him fit to give salah a break. Only player in the team who is close to salah’s style of play. Need the injured to return and youth to carry Liverpool through the next 4 weeks.
Game called off. I see positives as some of the players needed a rest. The injured players will have more time to recover. There should be enough players to cover congested fixtures. Hopefully, chiesa and jota back and konate.
Best outcome is playing during the ucl playoffs that Liverpool are unlikely to be part off for the revised fixture. Also, doesn’t upset the fixture congestion etc.
Im sorry i dont agree with u on Darwin this time, we can rely anymore on a below average player like him, its been 3 seasom and he is consistently poor, i hope he go , sooner the better
It's fine, we don't have to agree. Klopp picked him and Slot continues to pick him and as long as we are winning, and as long as he wears a red shirt, he will get my support because the more he is supported and the better he does, the better it is for Liverpool. YNWA
No disrespect Nunez isn't good enough for a 60-80 million pound player its not good enough, look at isak for Newcastle same age as Nunez different level. Im tired of the excuses ,i promise you as soon as jota is back fit and read nunez is back on the bench like je was before jota,s injury if chiesa is up to speed tjats another player that can jump in front of him . Slot would never have purchased a player like Darwin nunez that's klopps signing. Darwin needs selling in the summer.
Yup Nunez was not purchased by Slot, but at the same time, Nunez has been chosen to play and we are top of the league. He may or may not be the long term answer Slot is looking for but as long as he is putting on the red shirt, he will be supported all the way.
@@liverpooljapan Darwin gets a lot of support in fact he gets more support than any other player in the team. Maybe in the history of Liverpool gakpo gravenbirch when they were not at their best last season nobody changed their names. So yes we must support Darwin because he is a Liverpool player for now.
Yes you are disrespecting Nunez by saying he is not first choice cos jota is equally bad with only 2 goals in 7 starts. But at least you are the only fans channel that do mention his contribution even though the team is letting him down. Clearly the problem is our AM role in jones or szobo cos after 12- 14 matches between them they can only provide 1 assist each. There is an unnatural social media agenda from fans comments and even some fans channel to immediately go overdrive and trash Darwin when his form dip unlike other attackers who are equally not giving the GA. I wouldn't be surprised if FSG are behind it as they will profit most from his lucrative sales to fund the re-contracts and fans end up with more injury prone type of cheaper range lower GA players in Jota and now chiesa. FSG cant even bother about salah contract so why would these fans want nunez out when FSG wont buy big any more. All media comments is actually FSG themselves trying to fools fans thinking.
I am Nunez's biggest supporter but at the same time, the facts are that Slot started Jota when fit because Jota can facilitate Diaz and Salah better to some extent between the lines. That doesn't mean that Nunez does not start ahead of Jota when the opposition and tactics dictate it, but Jota has been selected ahead more, which means Nunez is not first choice. The team is designed for Salah and Salah is thriving and we are winning so the team composition is excellent so far under Slot. FSG have given Slot everything he needs to succeed this season and Slot is performing amazingly. YNWA
Appreciate what your saying , well said. Hope you have a blessed day.YNWA❤
Agreed Nindy, no game is easy and we got a deserved point and showed our ability to fight back. Kelleher will come back stronger and he has done us proud this season. Its a team game and we win it and lose it together as one. YNWA
@@liverpooljapan 100% correct
@jamierennie817 Thanks Jamie, naming and shaming players is nor a good look. You can say they didn't have a good game, but nasty toxic comments are not needed. In my opinion
Hi Si, just as you mentioned ST James Park is a tough place to play. We didn’t play as well as we should, but we still managed to get a point away, this hard fought point might be proved to be a decisive factor of our title charge. Carry on RED, we are doing great💪💪👍👍
Well done. A very balanced commentary done so far.
Thank you mate, much appreciated!
Mature pep talk for the fans! Well done!
YNWA
Agreed mate, much respect! We are in it to win it together, through thick and thin. Whatever can help the team, I am all for it!
Well said Jamie, we support our team through the good and the bad. Hoping for a better result on Saturday. Take care Jamie 😊
YNWA
@jamierennie817 I had a lovely birthday thank-you Jamie, and so nice of Si to give me a shout out what a lovely man he is.😄
I’m only realising outside of Endo and Macca Curtis Jones is our 3rd oldest midfielder his growning his really taking control with in the league I’m liking this new role.
Well said 👍
Indeed, especially with the results this weekend!
I'll join you, as I cant see a fella without his Burger 😉🍔
Thank you mate, super kind! Delighted to have you join the LFIJ Community ^^ Boogies Burger, here we come 🍔 YNWA
The draw is not so bad considering the busy and crazy schedule that makes every players so tired. I wish 遠藤さん was chosen to play from the beginning. It is no brainer! He is rested and plenty capable. The ref was so shockingly bad(even biased) !
Indeed but now we have had a rest this weekend, we should be fresh and ready to Smash Girona! Then back in form vs Fulham I hope ^^ YNWA
frustrating yes but only because we were so close to winning. i agree with slot's comments that if you would have told us we'd have come away with a point after that first half we had, i wouldve gladly taken it. all in all not too bad. newcastle away was always going to be tough. thanks for the video Si, we move forward. YNWA
Indeed, much appreciated mate, good perspective. Slot will make sure they stay focused and get through December on form ^^ YNWA
Hi Si, thanks for the birthday wishes yesterday. Thought this would be a tough game, a draw is better than a loss, but we have another tough game on Saturday, hopefully get a win. Take care Si.
Thank you Christine! Yes, we need to get back on track with a win at Everton for sure! YNWA
Happy Birthday Christine! 🎉🎉🎉
Here's to you Christine , it's great having you here. Hope you have a blessed day.YNWA❤
@dennisman7159 Thank-you so much it was actually yesterday but appreciate the thought.
Ya. We need to support our players in this hard time. Not sure why we criticize them too much while we are 7 points ahead.
Exactly, well said mate!
Totally agree with you👍👍👍
I think now that we have the break from the storm, we should be refreshed and going in full of confidence! Well said mate. YNWA
I agree with you. Endo not starting or playing at all which is a shame. Maybe second half of the season ?
LIVERPOOL fans let's support our team in the right way make anfield loud and game by game let's win the league and anything else that we can
Well said😊
Great comment , i always feel what sets us apart from others is what it means to say ❤YNWA❤ Hope you have a blessed day.YNWA❤

Matchday 15
It's a tough away match fixture in the early kick-off time against Everton at Goodison Park this coming Saturday.
It's about time to unleash the player who is capable of playing that No.6 role & also to provide defensive cover for the backline.
He is the one & only player who is very important & reliable in breaking the opponents play in the middle of the park.
The one & only...
Defensive Midfielder , Wataru Endō
From SINGAPORE

Lots wanted gravenberch out last season too.
Hi Si and LFIJ family
Disappointed with the first half but the fight back in the second half showed our desire to win .
Yes, that does seem to be an Achilles heel but his alibi might be that he thought Kelleher would claim it.
I half expected us to struggle, big games coming so close together must take its toll.
Mentally as much physically
Indeed Seth, they have to go and go again every 3 days and having beaten City and Madrid, it must be tough to keep at it 100% but credit to Slot and the boys for giving it their all and getting something in a tough fixture and coming from behind!
beautiful adidas track suit
Thank you Kofi, a fresh look for sure! YNWA
I was frustrated because it was a poor defensive performance AND we couldn't counter their gegenpress, with poor linkup play.
Then I was frustrated with Si relentless optimism. Buy then his optimism won me over 😂😂
haha good man. We were leggy for sure but now that we have had a weeks rest, upwards and onwards! YNWA
YNWA
The draw (feels like a loss) is a message - that we need reinforcements in January.
I think if we have the full squad fit by January, we should be ok. Reinforcements are always good but the other teams are struggling much worse.
Nice tracky top Si 👌🏿
Thank you Carl, it's a nice one for the winter and pretty fresh ^^ YNWA
Still angry that slot didn’t put endo on after the 3rd, would have won us the game
Agreed, I do think Endo would have helped us close out the game. Will be very interested if he starts on the weekend vs Everton
YNWA
@ back atcha! Looking fwd to the derby watch along.
Was an awesome watch tho. I thought we were poor in the first halt but I was calm as a kitten when we conceived the first.
Yeh, Newcastle definitely had a part to play in nullifying us but Slot as usual upped the lot at half time and we came back with Salah at the forefront! a well deserved point overall! YNWA
Looking fwd to watch along bro 🤘
Much appreciated mate, always great to get compliments on the sparkly eyes haha xD ❤
Completely right in saying its about how we respond and we have shown that we always fight back when going a goal down! YNWA
Kelleher is not the first Goalkeeper to make a howler and he won't be the last. Even the Mighty Alisson is not immune to making a mistake or two.
Exactly and it is a team effort to keep the ball out of the goal and ultimately we fell short in the final minute but it was a great overall team performance and we can be proud of the boys. YNWA
Perspective is key

Top of the champions league

Absolutely mate, well said! Agree completely.
Indeed Ruud was a penalty box predator but United actually won less when he was the main man. The refereeing was not up to standard really.
Good stuff ^^ Savory stuff is always good too! Kelleher and the team will have had a good weeks rest so lets go into Girona and gain some form! YNWA
YNWA
Should have put Endo on at least at 2-3.
Agreed, I really think Endo would have made a difference and changed the tempo of the game. Hopefully Slot starts Endo on the weekend and we can get the 3 points.
Talking about Chiesa, he played for the U21's yesterday.
The highlights are on U tube, he scored a nice goal but didn't see him do much else
First of all let's make it clear, because of his poor finishing he end up becoming the 2nd choice striker, it's not the other way around
Liverpool bought him after he scoring 30+ goals a season at Benfica and suddenly it's okay for nunez lacking number of goal??
YNWA
Maybe endo cud fill in ar right back he is excellent 1 on 1 tackler just lacks a little pace but is tenuous to
Endo actually started as a CB and covered both full back roles before earning his spot in the midfield for Japan! He is more than capable there for sure!
We need to move on from Darwizzy. Most expensive player in our history and will never be better than Jota etc
Origi is what you want from a second line striker.
Agreed. Well said Scott. Now we have had a weeks rest, lets get back on form vs Girona.
The LFIJ team Chattalong..was tense but fun...🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Indeed, I could sense the tension but it was a fun read!
YNWA
canele is french, you were probably thinking 'cannoli' ;)
haha you are very right Mike! I do like the Canele in Fortnum and Mason. Especially the Dulce De Leche ones!
Simple fact is without Mo’s goals and assists, we would be mid table at best
Going into last nights game with our away form against their home form, I was expecting us to win
We did well to comeback from going behind twice and then to take the lead was terrific.
@liverpooljapan haha.. Kinda expected such a response. Gave a great day!
Knew it'd be a hard game, draw ok imo. Everton will also be tough.
Just get Mo signed up ffs
I am confident he will renew. He has records to break and Liverpool is set up for him to do it
Don’t think Slot fancies Endo to be honest.
He’s still young give him time
I think it's fair to say that Quansah has had more exposure, experience and big game contributions than VVD, Gomez and Konate at the age range.
Luckily we had that weeks rest now so we can go in strong and quality to give players a rest later ^^ YNWA
YNWA
