Our journey begins in Ubud, where we hop into our trusty hire car and hit the road towards Lovina. Along the way, we make a stop at the awe-inspiring Ulun Danu Beratan Temple, nestled amidst the breathtaking landscapes of Bali. The temple's stunning architecture and tranquil surroundings make it a must-visit destination for anyone exploring the island.
After immersing ourselves in the beauty of Ulun Danu Beratan Temple, we continue our drive to Lovina, a hidden gem located on Bali's north coast. Lovina is renowned for its serene black sand beaches, lush rice terraces, and vibrant marine life.
During our stay in Lovina, we have the pleasure of experiencing the warm hospitality of the Puri Bali Hotel staff. Nestled in a tranquil setting, the hotel offers an amazing pool area and basic comforts. From the moment we step foot into the hotel, we are greeted by friendly staff who ensure our every need is met, making our stay enjoyable.

Wow Google sure did take you the long way. The road to Singaraja, Lovina is a great road. The new express road is open and great for driving. Hey if you get a superior double they have a fridge. I just return from Lovina today. If you like homemade cakes. Just down from your hotel at the intersection (with the traffic lights) there is a cafe, Greco Cafe good coffee and yummy homemade cakes the chocolate eclairs are so damn yummy only 25k each. So of course I had 2😂😂. The road to Amed is good. Very easy to get to you can't get lost. Go into Singaraja turn left at the main intersection in town go over the bridge and just keep on going. Just over 2 hours. Happy traveling. Make the next vlog a but longer. This one was short. 😅😅😅
Thanks for all the information Maurizio. We left Lovina yesterday and are now in Amed. It took us about 2.5 hours which was very do-able. Absolutely loved snorkeling in the ocean this morning. So many colourful fish! Thanks for commenting and watching our vlogs - we will try to make the next one longer for you! 😂😍💕

If you thought that was bad, the next mountain road was a lot worse! I couldn’t even video it because I thought I was going to die that day! High mountain, narrow road, no guard rails and a steep drop off beside me! 😳

Where is the dolpin?
After speaking to others who did the dolphin tour, we decided against doing it as there were too many boats chasing and getting too close to the small pod of dolphins. We don't want to contribute to them being harassed in their environment.
What did you use to navigate.. . Driving sanur to Amed to Lovina next week
We used Google maps - just don’t select the ‘quickest’ route or you could end up on some pretty crazy ‘roads’ 😂😂😂 Enjoy your trip! 🌸💗
