The lower arms have cat 1 balls on 1 end and cat 2 on the other end. It came with bushings so you can flip the cat 2 balls to the front, put in the bushings and have a cat 1 hitch. The sway control chains should be in the center holes then the lift arms go in the front holes for more travel or the rear for more power. The left lift arm also has a 2 position adjustment at the top for tall or short equipment. My 1265 will run for days on a 15 gallon tank of fuel. If you need fuses you may have to find a Volkswagen shop. The older aircooled VWs use the same fuses.
The lower arms of the 3 point hitch on those tractors seem to hold a mounted implement farther away from the body of the tractor than on the US built tractors. We put a brush hog mower on ours a couple of times and you really had to watch how high you lifted it up or you ran into the danger of separating the front and back half of the PTO shaft. That is probably why you need a longer upper link.
We all luv you or we would not be watching you. Get a battery disconnect switch and install it where the power cable reaches the starter. A bracket and a very short bat cable. Great way to keep from having to twist the cables on and off. Great video. BTW, Buddy is there so he can go barking to others the Ross Fell Off His Tractor.
Yeah, I’ve been thinking about different ways to mount of cut off switch where it won’t interfere with anything. I have them on all my other tractors. I’d like to think that Buddy will help if I get injured, but he’ll probably just lay down there next to me and wait 🤣
@@rosstheoliverman My dog would think I was playing and get rowdy. My first 2 service dogs would stick to me like glue if they thought something was wrong. The first dog could spot little strokes long before my wife realized one was happening. Anyway, you can state it, our dogs become family and know when something is wrong. Either that or it is feeding time.
I'm so happy for you to have it out there playing some now. I've got a 5050 Allis and a 445 long and hope to one day have a 1365 like yours. Take care and enjoy playing with it this spring
Sweet Crack that whip earn you keep you little Italian trouble maker . Nice weather this week hopefully get my 185 painted hopefully also a ride too . Maybe late next week planting corn 🌽. Beautiful sunset you looking my way from turkey creek farms be safe n thankful
Pretty nifty scraper...like the way the side plates keep the gravel under control!!! Glad to see your 1365 purring along earning its keep. Hope you folks are staying out of harms way with all the nasty storms that've been going through.
Thanks Don! This thing works pretty well I have to say. Definitely saves your rock. We’ve had a few storms and I’ve had some roof damage but otherwise not too bad
I'm glad you were able to play on your tractor ! I bet it felt good finally testing it out . The weather is showing no rain for the next 7 days I hope to get my M out to play in some dirt . I think with you restoring the tractor was better than buying a new one . It took me months to find the right tractor for the money I had to spend because you don't get much for $3500. Thanks for sharing and have a great evening !
That 1365 would make a nice little loader tractor. It’s actually a really nice tractor the way it is to. I know parts of it being put together was a pain for you but it’s a labor of love. If you didn’t like it you wouldn’t do it
Excellent!! That grille really is sharp! Good job with all the tin work it looks so good. It runs so very quiet and very good starter. Thank you for the ride along enjoyed it
Great work Ross. Nice to see her just pluggin along. It looks like you don't have the new tach connected yet. My vendor sent a right angle drive to remedy the connection issue, but it turns out it won't fit the tachometer. I'm losing faith that they'll be able to correct the problem and I'm planning on some creative lathe work to make it work. I also received an injector pump rebuild kit from the U.K. It took 20 days to get here via standard mail. I'm just happy it got here. P.S. Using a mill and a boring head, I was able to enlarge the RA drive so it will fit the tach.
That tractor is looking good! The weights on the front make look tough, corn dog must have some miles on him he follows you everywhere You go..lol The box blade does a fine job, saving the rocks but also reclaims the drive width too.
Did the 1365 become the new White 2-70? If that was the case then did the 1465 just get dropped by White? I believe the White 2-70 was the old Oliver 1655. Correct me if I’m wrong. Anyway my dad had a white 2-60 and that was a fabulous engine and a joy of a tractor to operate and drive. The 4-60 Field Boss with the White cab was a great loader tractor which was also great in the winter time with a snow blower on the back and a V-blade on the loader and then a quick attach round bale spike on the loader. It got used every day in the winter on the dairy farm. It also was great for running a nine foot cut hay vine.
@@rosstheoliverman Thanks for that, that makes sense. I really like your videos & I love your sense of humour. My brother has taken over the family farm on P.E.I. Canada and he also drives a school bus. Good luck with your farm and your channel. My dad was a Cockshutt man back in the day. The Cockshutt branded Oliver’s were a big hit on Prince Edward Island potato farms back in the 1960s and 1970s. They were tough as nails and were great on the two row potato harvesters, and believe me that was a heavy haul. They were the favourite over the Farmall and the other green brand. The only achilles heal was the chain couplers now and again.
Another fun video Ross! I do have a request, in the form of a question, can you brighten up the Green on the center section of the hood. It would look nearly New again. Also, a Black Paint Pen would go a long way to crispen up the "1365" and some of the letters. That's all I got. So Happy for You. Gonna be a Great Little Tractor. 👍🇺🇲🚜🇮🇪 (That's as close as I can come to the Italian Flag)
Well, the 1365 has taken it's place on the farm. It really seemed to run great and never missed a beat. It's a testament to your hard work and perseverance. You got'er done. Now get busy on that 880! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Yes, Fiats seem to have extra long lower 3pt arms. Even the cat2 Chinesium aren't long enough I welded a piece of box tube in mine so I could turn it with channel locks if I needed to. I turned my nose up at Fiats for decades till I bought 1 now I have 3.
I hate spell check, it is not that intelligent, not even artificially intelligent. It doesn’t even know what a hay binder is, you know it cuts an crimps the hay in one pass.

Good to see her out and working good.
Thanks!!
She’s a beauty Clark! Well done Ross!
Thanks Scott!
Missing a folded up feed sack in the seat. My memories of the dish pan seats. Lol
🤣 we did that too
you've done a lot of work to bring it back to life. great job man, hope you get many more years out of it.
Thank you Dennis!
Good to see it working. 👍
I was very excited to take it out for its first job
What a sweet tractor,I like the grill the way it is,it keeps it in its own suit of clothes
It turned out pretty nice!
She works and earns her keep.
The best way to keep them running is to use them I found

Yeah, those arms are longer by quite a bit. It doesn’t seem like it at first glance but they really are.

You know what else brings rock to the top??A couple loads of rock!😂
Yeah, I need to get another load. I bet I haul 20 loads in this driveway to get it this far.

It’s an awesome little tractor!
Yep "pretty sweet"!

neat driveway too.
This thing definitely helps keep it looking nice!!
Gonna be a great asset around the farm
I think so too! It’s a fun little tractor to drive!

I knew it I knew it😂😂😂😂
Yup 🤣
That is a nice little utility tractor to have around nice job on that one
Thanks Tim!
Nice!
Thanks Ronald!
You must almost have a tractor for every implement now 👍
Just about 🤣🤣🤣
That looks like a nice sized combo.
It handled it pretty well!
Wow you have made that a nice little tractor to use😊
Thanks Millard!
Very good job Ross, your hard work is not in vain.
Thanks Mark!
Neat little tractor 😂
Thanks Larry!
The little tractor looks like it's running really great. Looks like it was worth all your effort getting it going. Thanks Michael
It sure is! Thanks Michael!
You have me wishing I hadn’t passed on a white 2-60 a few years ago.
Yeah, I missed out on one of those a few weeks ago as well. But fear not! There may be another Fiat coming to this channel….
Great video! It's nice to see the SAME Oliver's at work. There's one down the road from me, and I'm always rubber necking when it's out baling hay. 🙂
Thanks Bob! The 1365 is actually a Fiat. I would like to find one of those SAME tractors. They’re pretty hard to find in this part of the world.

Glad you were able to saddle up and get some seat time on the 1365. Any seat time i get on an Oliver is well worth the effort in maintaining them!
So true! Thanks Kevin!
That looks like a really nice little tractor, i would buy one if i found one!
Thanks Jeff! It’s a pretty handy little machine
Bet you wish you had some snow to push with the 1365.
I can do without snow 🤣

Great little tractor. Congrats on saving another one.
Thanks Keith!
great video
Ive got the same Frontier Land plane and i found it only works good if i hang suit case weights on it . Old Ollie sounds good
Thanks! Yes, I’m actually in the process of getting another piece of box tubing and going to make brackets to hold flat weights.

It spent the first half of its life in a loader so I think it needs rewarded in the second half not in a loader 🤣
@@rosstheoliverman yeah I think your right. It definitely needs a life of ease now
Looks like a really fun and handy machine!
It is a fun little tractor to drive. It has a lot of power for something it’s size
It's getting about time to get the planters and field work going
It’s getting pretty close! I keep saying I need to hook up the 4-180 and check the disk over
Excellent!! That grille really is sharp! Good job with all the tin work it looks so good. It runs so very quiet and very good starter. Thank you for the ride along enjoyed it

Turned out nice! A set of ribbed age tires on the front would look good!
I need to get the original style rims and then that’s the plan!
