    I think the T1 / T1S is probably one of Thrunite's best lights for the price. They are small, have a nice strong clip, they are super bright for the size, come with a battery, it can charge USB, has a magnetic tail cap and all at the size of a thumb. The price is really good normally and when on sale they are a steal! Hands down my favorite small and / or EDC light. Buying this is a no brainer and should be in everyone's kit hands down IMHO! Who wouldn't want one?? 🙂. The T1 is just reason Thrunite is one of my favorite brands of light!

    Just purchased the Catapult Mini and another Thrunite headlamp, the TH02. That's some serious light right there! Just gave my T1 to my roomate, because she walks dogs in the evening on dark windy roads, and her big clunky flashlight was a piece of garbage. I really like it's simple UI, and the way the T1 ramps up and down and floods so seamlessly. I miss it already. 😕

    Another great video.Turbo on t1s is advertised at 1212 lumens, not 1500 like the T1. Which is good as the 1500 was to much for a 18350 cell regardless of brand imo and I have 6 or 7 T1's. But I do like the t1. T1 is usually a backup light anyways

I hate lights with proprietary charging systems where it's a totally different cord. I just got my Thrunite T1s tonight. I love it, but I'm torn between it and the T1 for what I use it for. I usually clip the T1 to the bill of my cap when I go out to my feeding stations where I feed the local critters. So I clipped both the T1 and the T1s to the bill of my cap as I was refilling feeders etc. Switching back and forth between the two. Then I turned them both on at the same time while they were attached to the bill of my hat. I'm ruined, that is what I prefer now. The T1 floods the area so well and the T1s punches through so I can be aware of my surroundings at a further distance. It's like having a double barrel flashlight attached to your bill and both are so light I don't even notice. I guess if it came down to it, I would chose the T1s over the original T1. You guys need to try them both attached to your caps. My favorite flashlights of the dozen or so that I have.

      How do you find turbo and it's working? Does battery need to be fully charged or near full for turbo to work? I don't find much info on that anywhere. This can be hard to tell as blue indicates a very wide range from full all the way down to 20% left. At some point in between turbo will stop working

    • @Campfussell
      @Campfussell 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@johndoe-vc1we I hardly ever max mine out? I only need to see 25 to 30 yds max when I go out to feed the critters. I just hate to waste the charge on running it at max power.

    I have a few Thrunites, but I have to say I'm least impressed with the T1. I like the size, the output, the infinity brightness and magnet in the tailcap, but the problem is with the turbo mode. Looking around, I'm not alone in seeing that turbo sometimes simply does not work. You get max output for a fraction of a second but then steps back to around high lumens. Apparently, this mode doesn't like anything other than a fully charged battery, and even then sometimes you have to remove the head to let the light reset itself for turbo to work like it's supposed to.
    Hopefully, this problem has been fixed with the T1S.
